"Perfect ! A lovely property in an ideal position for touring Cornwall."
A 20 - 25 minute walk into Camborne. Everything you need is in the property to help make your stay comfortable. The owners, who live adjacent were very friendly and helpful. Good choice of supermarkets nearby.

"We have just come back from a week’s stay at The Roost."
Hosts Belinda and Alan had though of everything, with a warm welcome and home comforts throughout. Great location for accessing north and south coasts. We would definitely recommend and will go back. Thank you!

"We had a very peaceful and comfortable two week stay at The Roost, Belinda and Alan made us very welcome, included extra touches with a cream tea, bread and milk and other provisions awaiting us on arrival."
The sheets and towels were changed mid stay and the cottage cleaned for us. Belinda even offered to do our washing for us as there is no washing machine facilities, our clothes were washed, dried and ironed and returned the next day. The family birds were also friendly calling out to you when they saw you. This Roost is highly recommended for a visit.

"The accommodation was perfect in every way."
Belinda, the owner, was attentive and very eager to please but not at all intrusive. The attention to detail was amazing and the lovely welcome of a cream tea ready for us on arrival says it all. We would 100% recommend to any couple seeking a stay in clean, cosy, well appointed accommodation in a tranquil setting.

"The cottage is set in the grounds of the owners home, a peaceful location where we spent many evenings sitting on the patio watching and listening to the many garden birds."
The cottage has all you need for the week and is clean and bright, we were met with scones, jam and clotted cream, with milk and bread in the fridge which was a lovely welcoming touch. The owners are both lovely and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Cornwall exceeded our expectations it is stunningly beautiful and knowing we had such a great base to retreat to at the end of each day made the experience even more enjoyable.

"The owners are the loveliest couple you are ever likely to meet, share good knowledge of the local area, nothing is too much trouble and it’s a beautiful idilic quiet country setting."
.. they have thought of everything within the cottage, scones, clotted cream and jam ready on arrival. Games, DVD’s BBQ, everything is ready and waiting for an enjoyable relaxing break. Beautiful pet Hawk who calls for you as you pull up in the car, loves visitors. my son loved him... !!! And not forgetting the pet parrot... at night you would think you are in the middle of nowhere it’s so quiet.... not forgetting you are ONLY 4 miles from the beach!!!! Location just perfect..... thank you for an amazing stay.... Steven and Mitchell

"This was a last minute booking but what a find it turned out to be !"
Although compact the accommodation was very nicely furnished, fitted and decorated. Very clean and situated in very pleasant garden with it's own spacious terrace and BBQ area. We were greeted by such a lovely "welcoming pack" laid out for us ! The owners are on hand if needed but do not interfere in the least. Another bonus is having an owl, hawk and parrot in garden, (caged!). The owners are most approachable, friendly and helpful. If interested in mining history get along to nearby King Edward Mine.

From Camborne centre you can follow an interesting town trail, or spend the afternoon in the museum before visiting the array of shops and pubs. A ten-minute drive from Camborne brings you to a wealth of sandy Cornish beaches including Portreath, Gwithian and Porthtowan.
