The property

Barlendew is a charming bungalow set within its own beautiful, private gardens, hosting views to open countryside, near the Cornish village of Quintrell Downs.

This is the ideal holiday let for families and friends looking to get away and experience the heart of Cornwall, with all the fun-filled attractions it has to offer.

Make the most of your down time in the bright and airy sitting room, with the dual aspect windows drawing in plenty of natural light, framing the mature gardens that are filled with an abundance of wildlife.

You can sit and chat as you take in your surroundings with a refreshing drink in hand or tune into the TV to later catch up on some of your favourite shows.

Find yourselves lost in the glorious views from the open-plan living room, which doubles up as a conservatory, creating a wonderful, social space for you to do some home-cooking and entertain your fellow guests around the dining table.

There is also a breakfast bar at which you can enjoy your morning coffee with a read of the newspaper, as you are surrounded by a series of quality fittings and homely finishing touches.

You have three bedrooms to choose from, the master boasting plenty of space and an en-suite bathroom, one double and one twin.

There is also a study with a sofa bed which is perfect for those travelling with children.

Each of them are well-presented and play host to more of those inviting garden views from the window.

Find a quiet spot in the garden to enjoy a good book on a summer's afternoon and later get everyone together for a pot of alfresco dining on the patio, as you soak up the natural ambiance and catch up on your adventures so far.

You are in a lovely position for exploring all that Newquay has to offer, including an array of watersports, golden beaches, where you can take the children rock pooling and plenty in terms of shops and eateries.

You can also spend some time at the zoo or a rainy day in the sea life centre, and even enjoy a round of golf.

Venture down to the Eden Project near St. Austell, or the Lost Gardens of Heligan where you can uncover a wealth of history and explore a world of romance.

You also have a plethora of walking and cycling trails to enjoy along the South West Coast Path, a fantastic destination for a holiday in the UK, with this delightful base to relax in.
