The property

Higher Little Lidgey is a lovely house located in Penryn, Cornwall, in a tranquil country village setting.

Outside has a large enclosed garden, which offers a lawned area ideal for ball games, plus a patio area for alfresco dining and barbecues.

The historic market town Penryn is a few miles away and just one mile beyond is the fabulous Falmouth.

There are four local beaches, ideal for swimming and picnics.

Also nearby are the historical attractions, including Pendennis Castle, The National Maritime Museum and a big harbour offering fishing trips and pleasure boat rides to the beautiful St Mawes, plus kayaks for hire to explore the secret creeks.

Penryn is a town guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained.

There are galleries and shops to browse, restaurants, beachside cafes and traditional inns offering every cuisine and real Cornish ale.

Visit Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah gardens, with The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project slightly further afield, all worthy destinations.

One of the oldest market towns in Cornwall, the pretty port of Penryn boasts a wealth of historic architecture and harbour heritage with attractive granite buildings steeply sloping along the cobbled streets down to the sea. There’s a good choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs in the town, along with a museum offering free entry, and the tranquil Enys Gardens on the outskirts of the town, providing a range of grounds and a peaceful haven. Further along the Penryn River, just one mile towards the sea you’ll find the famous seaport of Falmouth, with a host of things to keep you entertained including harbour-side pubs and eateries offering spectacular views, stunning Blue Flag beaches and a bustling town centre.
