Elegant and designed for comfort, the interior makes the most wonderful celebration venue for family and friends.

Detached and down a private lane shared with only one neighbour, this is the perfect countryside retreat.

Internally, there are two sitting rooms, both with woodburning stoves, one part of a big social open-plan space with a bespoke kitchen and formal dining table for family gatherings.

The separate sitting room has a tasteful, eclectic mix of colourful sofas with dual aspect views and doors to the patio area.

A well styled double bedroom is nestled away on the ground floor plus a utility room and cloakroom with basin and WC.

The first floor is home to a further four bedrooms all guaranteeing big country views, plus a luxury family bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower cubicle.

With the addition of two en-suites, guests have the perfect base for exploring the coast.

There is parking available for up to five cars.

Outside has a large enclosed garden, which offers a lawned area ideal for ball games, plus a patio area for alfresco dining and barbecues.

The historic market town Penryn is a few miles away and just one mile beyond is the fabulous Falmouth.

There are four local beaches, ideal for swimming and picnics.

Also nearby are the historical attractions, including Pendennis Castle, The National Maritime Museum and a big harbour offering fishing trips and pleasure boat rides to the beautiful St Mawes, plus kayaks for hire to explore the secret creeks.

Penryn is a town guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained.

There are galleries and shops to browse, restaurants, beachside cafes and traditional inns offering every cuisine and real Cornish ale.

Visit Trelissick, Glendurgan and Trebah gardens, with The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project slightly further afield, all worthy destinations.
