Penhallow Cottages
Escape to a cottage in Penhallow, a lovely little hamlet on the
coast road between Newquay and Truro. It's a place to
truly unwind, with beautiful countryside all around and
Cornwall's dazzling northern coastline just a short drive away.
With a handful of cottages, a welcoming pub and two fantastic
visitor farms, there's every reason to visit.
Delicious treats in store!
A mix of apples and imagination has put Healey's Cornish
Cyder Farm firmly on the tourist map and you'll find it right
here in Penhallow, a stone's throw from your holiday cottage.
Enjoy a complimentary tasting, join a guided tour of the cellar and
orchards, or stock up on jams, juices, spirits and traditional
Cyders. Your stay might even fall during the Little Apple Cyder and
Music Festival, a magical weekend of festivities and fun.
Do also visit Callestick Farm, famous for its delicious
ice-creams made from the finest natural ingredients. Pop up to the
viewing gallery for a glimpse behind the scenes, then head into the
tearooms for a few scoops of crunchy toffee, lemon curd, chocolate
fudge, clotted cream vanilla...the mouth-watering list goes on!
Less than three miles away is the small resort of Perranporth, where three miles of
dune-backed sands await washed by Atlantic rollers - pure bliss for
surfers! Other surfing hotspots all close to our Penhallow holiday
rentals include Porthtowan,
Portreath and Holywell Bay.
Discover the nooks and crannies of the St. Agnes Heritage Coast,
rich in legends and iconic mine buildings. It's a wonderful
place for coast and countryside rambles, as well as cycling,
surfing, rock pooling and stargazing.
What else? Horse riding, golf, Newquay Zoo and Truro
Cathedral.
