  • "Lovely accommodation in a quiet peaceful location."

Friendly host , helpful and accommodating. Central location for exploring both coasts.

    Mr PritchardJul 2021

  • "Loved the cottage and garden."

Location was perfect although the cornish country lanes arent for the feint hearted! Clare the caretaker was really helpful and on arrival we had a beautiful batch of scones with jam and clotted cream. Will definitely look to booking again.

    Mrs SellersMay 2021

  • "Lovely relaxing weekend in beautiful Harry."

Gorgeous barn, light and spacious upstairs. Cosy and comfortable downstairs. Really lovely grounds to explore and easy walks into the village. Clare the housekeeper couldn't be more friendly and informative. Maybe take a tray with you, just for transporting drinks/plates downstairs for alfresco times!

  • "The holiday was absolutely brilliant, and just what I needed."

The cottage, Harry, was wonderful and provided a perfect place to relax after days out exploring. Cottage had everything we could need, and I will certainly be looking at coming back.

  • "The hosts are lovely, helpful and genuine people, the venue is beautiful and the grounds are peaceful and safe."

There were even places we could let the dog off safely to run around, it suited our needs so well. We didn't want to leave.

    Mrs LavelleJul 2020

  • "It was a lovely peaceful location and the accommodation was very relaxing and had everything you needed."

The staff were very friendly and easy to approach. The swing and green space the children loved. Easy to reach beaches to the north and south so great location to explore and near by forests to walk around.

    Would definitely stay again.

    Mrs AkersAug 2019

  • "Lovely comfortable cottage."

Stunning location. Large main bedroom and sitting room. Plenty of crockery and glasses. New oven to be installed this year as current not sufficient.

About the location

BLISLAND

Bodmin 5.7 miles; Wadebridge 8.4 miles; Polzeath 13.2 miles; Tintagel 13.8 miles; Padstow 16 miles; Fowey 17.2 miles.

Situated under the western edge of granite-bound Bodmin Moor, the village of Blisland retains its age old character and is the only village in Cornwall to have a village green with trees. Around the green, cluster old houses and cottages, as well as the famous, award-winning Blisland Inn. The village is located less than three miles from the A30, and so provides an ideal central location for touring Cornwall. Nearby, Poley’s Bridge marks the beginning of the Camel Trail, a 17-mile long route, which follows a long disused old steam engine railway line to Padstow. The route is completely traffic-free and perfect for walkers and cyclists. You can even explore the trail on horseback and a purpose-built hide has been constructed between Wadebridge and Padstow, so even birdwatchers are catered for! Pull on your walking boots and explore Bodmin Moor, or venture to the coast with your buckets and spades and enjoy a day on one of the many beautiful beaches that stretch along Cornwall’s northern coastline. A fabulous part of the country for all!
