  • "Lovely comfy place."

Failed to connect to WiFi. Sat nav directions incorrect. Fridge didn't keep things cold enough. On a positive note, it was very clean, with all the facilities needed, and a great spot for touring.

Thank you for your feedback upon checking out the fridge it was found that it had been turned down and on resetting it was ok with freezer unit freezing as normal. Wi Fi instructions are listed in the information booklet on how to connect or my contact details are readily available within the bungalow for any help required in connecting. Property Owner

  • "Lovely location, great communication , Bungalow was very clean clean and was full of essentials."

My only issue was the smell of damp ( owner had a dehumidifier to try and help)

Thank you for your feed back but very suprised by your damp comment . The property has a air filtration system which was renewed earlier this year and as long as this has not been swiched off! coupled with the dehumidifier and other guide lines are followed ie keep windows on latch etc using extractor when cooking with the current weather there should not be any chance of damp at this time of year. • "We where not happy about the mould in the bedroom and bathroom."

There were hairs on the shower mat and sink tap.the internet was hit and miss. The dehumidifier turning on and off all day and night was quite loud this is what the owner put in place to combat the mould instead of curing the problem. Here were Several comments in the visitor book about the mould this can cause health problems.

  • "A lovely location peaceful and rural."

Property damp despite dehumidifier running all the time. Only facility onsite village inn wasn't open.

Thank you for your feedback. The lodge has an air filtration system present as well as the dehumidifier which is normally sufficient. Although there is a lot of moisture in the air within Cornwall, it is always advisable to close the adjoining doors when cooking or using the bathroom for ventilation in a lodge this size. I noted that you have marked the comfort level down in your feedback and I'm pleased to confirm there are new sofa's on their way and should be delivered this October. I must also point out that the Village Inn is not part of the lodge site, just located nearby. Property Owner

  • "Lovely little cottage/bungalow, general really clean, however when we came back from a day out for the first half of the week and it would always smell of wet dog."

On the Wednesday we had the morning in so opened the windows and I gave it a really good vac, which seem to work. I know it a dog friendly place however a good airing is all that was needed shouldbhave been a easy fix. The Internet wasn't great but didn't need it that much.

  • "Tranquility is the right name for this bungalow."

We were almost alone there with the brook and river and all sorts of wild animals next to us. The bungalow was quite comfy with all facilities provided but no rubbish bags, tea and coffee or spices for cooking. There is a pub nearby in walking distance and several supermarkets are in the town that can easily be reached by car. As the bungalow is situated near water, there are lots of insects around outside. Lots of board games, books and DVDs were provided but the TV-DVD connection cable did not work properly sometimes and new remote control batteries were required. The wi-fi was good but certain devices might not work with it. The beds were soft and clean. The heating worked well and the electric fireplace was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.
