A beautifully styled and furnished family home, Kismet nestles peacefully on the edge of Little Petherick, a quiet hamlet just outside of Padstow.
Surrounded by rolling green fields yet just a short drive from the stunning beaches of the north Cornish coast, a holiday here offers the very best of coast and country.
Step inside to a cool bright hallway filled with natural light.
From here, the elegant country-chic kitchen diner provides a wonderfully sociable space in which to gather everyone together, with a cosy wood burning stove and comfy cream sofas overlooking the landscaped gardens to the front of the house.
Adjacent to the kitchen diner is an impressive cinema room with enormous screen, projector and surround sound - the most wonderful place to snuggle up with some popcorn!
Should you need to work during your stay, there is also a study with a lovely antique table.
Upstairs, the four bedrooms are tastefully presented in calming hues, local artwork adorning the walls.
Kismet's gardens are delightful; landscaped gardens taper away from the front of the house towards the countryside beyond, and to the rear of the house, a large terrace with outdoor dining table and sun loungers offers the perfect spot for socialising in the Cornish sunshine.
The much-loved harbour town of Padstow is easily accessed on foot, with a gentle stroll along the Saints Way trail.
Padstow is home to a range of quirky shops and galleries, harbourside inns and some excellent restaurants including Rick Steins and Paul Ainsworths.
Cycle the traffic-free Camel Trail along the estuary to Wadebridge and back, ride the waves at Constantine, Treyarnon or Harlyn Bay, or have a go at water-skiing on the estuary at Rock there is so much to see and do in this lovely corner of Cornwall.
