  • "Very disappointed that we had to make our own beds on arrival and we were left only 1 very small teatowel."

Also only 1 key despite reporting this on our first day to the helpline. Also don't like the impersonality of contact, noone to meet you. Preferred the way John Bray looked after us in our previous holidays.

Hello Helen. Thank you for your feedback. We are very disappointed to see your comments. We have had discussed this with John Bray as your experience fell well below the expected standard of service - hopefully this will not happen again. We have also fixed an extra key in the property as you mention one set isn’t really sufficient. David and Joanna Property Owner

  • "Position of cottage was perfect lovely to have an outdoor space."

Back door needs a good push to open it after unlocking Could do with hooks for coats especially if they are wet All facilities we’re excellent so this is in no way a detrimental comment just a point and a suggestion Could do with better directions to the cottage from John Bray and clearer information in the cottage about rubbish and recycling collection A most enjoyable stay, excellent position, pretty cottage, beautifully appointed.

Hello Lindsey. Thank you so much for your feedback. We are terribly sorry that you struggled with the back door. It’s a brand new door and one of the adjustment screws had become loose. We came to visit straight after you and had it fixed immediately. It was a great suggestion too for some hooks – we kept some of the lovely old original hooks from the house before it was renovated. These are now fitted just inside the back door. We have also made sure there is clear information on the location of the rubbish bins and which ones to use. Thank you for pointing these things out and pleased you enjoyed your stay. David and Joanna Property Owner

  • "Furnished and decorated tastefully and to a high standard, Gulls Roost was a great place to stay."

Very well located for access to all parts of the Port Isaac and yet with a feeling of seclusion. The lack of a car park was not really a problem, given that it it is quite close to the car park We will stay again.

Thank You Nicholas. We very much appreciate your feedback. We spent a long time choosing the colours and deciding how to furnish the property. The lack of parking concerned us for a long time. However, as you say the local car park is great being so close. We are very pleased that you want to stay again and hope you have another memorable holiday. David and Joanna Property Owner
