The property

St Ives 2.6 miles.

Superbly located for beach holidays and coastal walking this contemporary, beautifully furnished apartment is located in Carbis Bay only a short walk from its award-winning mile-long beach and less than three miles from St Ives.

Arrive at the small, select apartment block, take the stairs to the second floor and enter into the beautifully furnished open plan living room.

With cosy sofas and a comfortable dining area this is a lovely spot to relax at the end of the day and enjoy the far reaching countryside views to the east.

There are two bedrooms here, a double with en-suite facilities and a twin with a bathroom opposite.

Whilst staying in Carbis Bay gives many touring opportunities in this beautiful setting you could leave your car parked up for the week and still find it easy to get around.

With a good bus service close by taking you in both directions along the coast and the picturesque train line taking you the short distance into St Ives you will have the opportunity to totally relax.

Take the 12-minute walk to Carbis Bay beach and you will be rewarded with one of the best family beaches in Cornwall.

Facing north east the beach rarely has any surf making it perfect for swimming.

Part of an array of beaches that make up St Ives Bay, listed as one of the world's best, the beach is surrounded by sub-tropical plants and lapped by turquoise waters making it a dream destination.

Just two-minutes walk from the apartment will take you to Becks fish and chip takeaway and restaurant, one of the best in Cornwall and ideal after a day on the beach.

Also close by are a fine selection of restaurants with something to suit everyone and that is without going into St Ives where a larger selection of pubs, restaurants and takeaways are available.

A wonderful holiday destination and also perfect for short breaks all-year-round.

About the location

Penzance 6 miles.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
