The property

Ideally located for touring the wonderful south coast of Cornwall, this delightful, detached south-facing bungalow is situated in the village of St Keyne, close to the well-known fishing ports of Looe, Polperro and Fowey.

You will sense the homely feel immediately upon entering this lovely holiday cottage, which is ideal for couples or a group of three friends.

Passing the kitchen, head into the living room, with sitting and dining areas both looking out onto the garden, and onto the lovely rural views beyond.

You’ll find two well-furnished bedrooms on the first floor, including a king-size double and a single, with the shower room conveniently set between the two.

The pretty garden, accessible through the French doors in the sitting room or from a separate gated entrance, is an ideal spot in which to relax in the peace and quiet of the area and sit in the sun, which can be enjoyed throughout the day.

Just 100 yards from the cottage is a bus stop that will take you to Looe and Polperro, from where the South West Coast Path can be accessed.

The ancient market town of Liskeard is only two miles away and offers a selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and individual shops, some retaining their attractive Victorian fronts and interiors, as well as major supermarkets, so all your needs will be met.

With the pretty ports of Looe, Polperro and Fowey close by, and the town of Padstow, Bodmin Moor and the city of Plymouth within driving distance means that the choice of what to do is endless.

Also the local train station at St Keyne is just half a mile away and has connections to Looe and the mainline to London, ideal for those that wish to leave the car behind.

The wonderful Cornish coastline is dotted with numerous tiny villages and superb beaches, making this cottage an ideal base for a Cornish holiday at any time of year.
