Perfectly located for peaceful relaxing holidays and short breaks, this cosy detached character cottage is set in an idyllic location near the village of Luxulyan on the outskirts of Bodmin Moor, four miles from Bodmin and six miles from the Eden Project.
Driving through the beautiful unspoilt Luxury Valley you arrive at the cottage immediately appreciating the tranquil natural surroundings.
As you enter the cottage you feel the homely character which exudes throughout.
There are two bedrooms and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting areas on the ground floor.
Wake up in the morning to perfect peace before enjoying fresh free range eggs from the owner's hens for breakfast.
Then maybe enjoy an hour in the hot tub and plan the day ahead.
There are stunningly beautiful walks right from the door here including a circular walk following the leats and horsedrawn tramways through the world heritage site to the massive viaduct which formerly carried the tramways towards Newquay and water to winch the trams up the valley with a huge waterwheel.
If you fancy a night off from the cooking there are three character pubs within walking or riding distance that all serve locally sourced food.
Cyclists will be delighted that the cottage is on the National Cycle Network and a novel way to visit the Eden Project would be to cycle along the Saints Way where you would be rewarded by the discounted entry offered to cyclists.
The Mowhay offers comfortable accommodation in a beautifully quiet location with a BBQ outside and can be enjoyed all year round.
Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.
