Local sights include the Cornwall Coastal Path for walkers and cyclists and The Hoxton Special open for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, as well as Penlee House Gallery & Museum which specalises in Newlyn School and early St Ives artists.
Local pubs include The Star Inn which served excellent Cornish Real Ale.
