  • "A lovely holiday home."

It had everything we needed and we particularly enjoyed using the body boards. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The house was very close to the beach which meant we could get to the beach easily.

  • "Domenic is a great host."

The house is in immaculate condition and the welcome basket a kind gesture. We were particularly grateful for the use of the body boards as we enjoyed the surf at Fistral Beach. It was great to be so near Porth Beach, which was literally a few minutes away. A wonderful house for a wonderful holiday.

it had everything we could have asked for and more. The owner has thought of everything, most certainly ticked every box, from the essentials in the kitchen, home comforts with a hint of luxury to toys for the children, beach equipment, bodyboards, chairs I could go on the list is endless. We arrived at this lovely house to be greeted with scones, fresh cream, jam and a bottle of bubbly and not to mention tea, coffee milk etc . Ooh and the garden AMAZING, the house made our fantastic holiday a perfect one, we are already planning our next stay in this house. Perfect in every way! Thank you to Dominic!

  • "Beach Walk is a superb property in a great location."

5 minute walk to Porth beach and easy access to Newquay town on foot (about 20 minutes). The owners have equipped the house with extreme attention to detail so guests want for nothing. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The welcome goodies in the fridge were much appreciated. Contact from the owners was excellent. If we have another extended family holiday I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The ideal property for a family holiday especially with children. Helen and Dominic could not have been more welcoming, from the thoughtful items in the fridge on arrival to checking in on us during the gales of Storm Noa! Highly recommended and we'll definitely be booking to stay here again soon

The property is well positioned for exploring Cornwall. The kitchen is huge and equipped with everything you could want, spent a lot of our time in there. The garden is fully enclosed and is ideal for the little ones. All the bedrooms are a good size. The welcome pack on arrival is a nice touch. The owners Helen and Dominic are very attentive and helpfull. Will be looking forward to visiting again.

Would highly recommend for any family holiday. Wonderful location, easy access to beach and nice walks. Town is east reach, as is location for getting out and about around Cornwall. Do note there is no/limited phone signal as it’s in a valley, but the internet is good for other communications.

The house was perfect, clean and in a great location. The weather was kind to us all week so we took full advantage of being so close to the best family beach. There was plenty of space for us all, the garden is great, especially in the evenings. The house is very well equipped and the owners clearly take pride in this property. Would love to go back again

We really enjoyed our stay. 5 minute walk to Port beach but great location for visiting other places as well. Dominic and Helen were great. We had a lovely card, bunch of flowers and scones on arrival! They even sourced fans for us before we arrived as the weather was very warm. Travel cot, high chair and a change mat was all provided so saved a lot of space in the car! It’s all the little things, windbreaker and body boards in the garage which you can take to the beach if you want to. We loved our week here.

  • "This property was amazing, everything in the description was true to form on arrival."

We were a party of 6 family members and we had plenty of room in the main house to move around without getting under each others feet and the bedrooms were all of good size and very well furnished with more than adequate storage in each room for everyone. The kitchen was a real home from home and had everything you would need including 2 kitchen sinks !! The property was spotless on arrival with welcome gifts in the fridge and fresh flowers on display, the owners really do go the extra mile to make you feel welcome - a lovely touch. The owners were on hand but not intrusive if we needed anything, and other than a few pointers on where to visit around Cornwall they left us to it. The holiday manual/booklet was very thorough and was easy to refer back to if we did have any questions on how to use or find anything. Due to the superb weather, we fully utilised the outdoor seating space every day at all times of the day - it is a real suntrap and perfect for family socialising. Porth Beach is literally no more than a 5 mins (maybe 10mins on the way back as up hill !) walk away which we took full advantage off in the beautiful weather and a great location to watch the sunset over the sea each night. The cooking facilities were perfect, although after being out all day we didn't take full advantage of them , we did have fish and chips and chinese takeaways locally which we did enjoy. The coastal path is right on your doorstep which if you love walking is just perfect, you can walk to the next beach, have a spot of lunch and walk back. This was the perfect base to tour Cornwall, a lovely home and we have no hesitation in recommend this property to others who are looking for a perfect holiday accommodation in Cornwall.

The welcome gifts and card were a nice touch. The house as a whole was superb but the kitchen and garden are the highlights. The kitchen had everything you would want and is very spacious. The garden has plenty of seating for the warm weather and is enclosed so little ones can enjoy themselves without worry. The location is ideal for further exploration of Cornwall with Porth beach only 5 minutes walk away. Would highly recommend and will be going back.

  • "1 Beach Walk was the perfect venue for a family holiday."

It was an ideal size for us, (8); the rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds are comfy and the fabulous kitchen with bi-folding doors onto an exquisite decking area came way beyond expectations. It’s such a pity that we couldn’t make use of the doors or decked area due to it being February - with rather blustery winds. The host was extremely helpful and responded quickly to our questions, not that we had many. The location - so close to beautiful Porth beach and to local shops really made our week away perfect. Thank you Dominic and Helen.

Great location for exploring various areas of Cornwall and close enough to restaurants/coffee shops/groceries which increased the convenience factor. The owner was also very helpful and responsive to questions. The only defect (very minor) was that the overhead light in the master suite did not work.

We played 'come dine with me' so dinner parties every night, apart from the first night. Great access of meals that can be delivered to the house via the various eats companies. Everything we needed was in the house. Wonderful garden. Garden furniture cushions appear brand new. (I note this was a negative in an earlier review) Parking for our 3 cars. • "What a great home to stay in with lots of room and space to spread out."

We came at the beginning of July when we had weather for every season in 1 week and as a party of 7 (2 families) The property is very neat, modern and smart with no clutter and gorgeous decor. Outside space is so well presented and can be accessed by the back gate which is great when you return from the beach very Sandy :-) With a downstairs toilet, full bathroom and en-suite shower room it suited all persons - if any criticism it would be to revamp the en-suite with a bigger power shower but it was still very adequate for a holiday. The kitchen is gorgeous with lots of work surface, space and a large table to eat from or to watch tv or the kids outside. Location is very handy for porth beach (walking distance) and local shops just down the road with a fab bakery. It’s on a main road which leads out to watergate bay which is amazing for surfing. Helen the host was absolutely amazing - she welcomed us to the property as the cleaners left to ensure everything was perfect and due to a delay to check in (COVID related) a hamper, flowers and wine - lovely touch. During the week we managed to loose the front door key (which we were advised to leave in key box at the house!!) but luckily Helen left us her number just in case and she came immediately to our rescue with another key. Had she not we would have missed a booking for a local attraction. Thank you Helen we all thoroughly enjoyed staying at your home
