  • "Lovely property, has everything you need for a relaxing stay."

Would have loved a washing machine but obviously no space for one, although there is a laundrette just down the road. Info booklet was great, has lots of info about areas to visit and good dog walking beaches. Super comfy bed, which was a massive plus! The view was gorgeous and because we were up early we got to watch the sun rise over the hills. Very romantic!

Thanks for choosing our lodge and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future Kind regards Jo and Kevin Property Owner

  • "We loved Orchard View, tucked away on the site looking across the valley."

Before we arrived we received an email with all the information. The lodge is clean, cosy and warm and provided everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was an added luxury which we used every day even in the rain. Bossiney is only half a mile from Tintagel, an easy walk to the shops and pubs. There is also a great walk across the fields to St Nectans waterfall. Definitely recommend

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your feedback, we really appreciate it. It’s lovely to know that you had a great holiday and enjoyed our lodge. Hopefully you will come again. Property Owner

  • "Amazing Holiday, Thank you!"

We had a really lovely stay at Orchard View, it was in a great position that's not overlooked and people aren't walking past which was great for Amber my dog. The views over the countryside from the decking/hot tub were stunning. The lodge was really comfortable and had everything we needed. The sofas and bed were comfy, the kitchen was well equiped even with a full sized fridge/freezer so plenty of room to store food. Made good use of the furniture out on the decking as well as the hot tub! Someone from the site did check the hot tub daily, and apart from the first day when they walked in unannounced and were greeted by 40kg of protective Ridgeback, it wasn't too disruptive. They did shout from the gate for the rest of the week if we were in and usually arrived between 9:30am & 10:30am. The site was quiet, the cafe next door and the icecream van across the road were both amazing. The views across Bossiney Haven were really stunning and access to the west coast path couldn't have been easier. We had an amazing holiday with weather so good we couldnt have wished for better! We would definitely recommend Orchard View and would love to return for another holiday, thank you for a fantastic stay!

Thank-you so much for detailed feedback that is useful for other guests and we are really pleased you had such a great holiday. We’d love to welcome you again. Property Owner

Property wasnt ready for 4pm, was told to go away and come back, moaned that they said it would be ready for 4 and we had 2 dogs in hot weather, some cleaners arrived who were very polite and we waited 40 mins outside in the car, patio door doesnt lock, made a make shift wedge in the night to stop any potential break in, 2 days in the mornings workers turned up to alter drainage on the hot tub, whilst we were enjoying breakfast outside, had to go in, close doors etc as of the dogs, not what you want while trying to relax

Firstly, thank you for your feedback; we are saddened by your experience and wish to express for any future guests that we really urge guests to contact us during their stay with any issues so we can intervene, support and resolve if possible at the time so to ensure you can enjoy your valuable holiday time. There are staff at the Park and we are contactable for all our guests at any time; it’s upsetting when we have been unaware of concerns that could have been avoided. We hope that everyone has a fantastic stay with us and will ensure this feedback is acted upon with the park manager. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "Nice lodge, not over looked so hot tub was quite private, clean tidy but to get the car into the allocated parking space was so tight!"

If there had been a car in the allocated space of the lodge at the bottom of the hill then there is no way we’d have got our vehicle into our parking place! Also visitors need to bear in mind the walk to the beach is extremely steep, there are hand rails which are very much needed, the beach is however lovely but take account of tide times as if tide is in then there is no beach. The walk into Tintagel is lovely via the coastal route but a good 30 mins away more the 1/2 mile! There is a lovely cafe next to the holiday park where the owners are very welcoming with a wealth of knowledge of the area and they do a great breakfast but they shut at 5pm so if you are looking for evening food then there is nothing local so it’s either a walk to Tintagel or a drive to somewhere else. We enjoyed our stay, the dogs had a great time, we were extremely lucky with the weather so walking into town for food each night was no issue, it would have been a different story if it had been a week of rain! Lovely lodge just make sure you research the area as a car is needed!

Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased your enjoyed the lodge and exploring the amazing north coast of Cornwall. Property Owner

The place was furnished nicely with lovely touches, well equipped kitchen we wanted for nothing. The hot tub was lovely too. I'd definitely stay again a lovely base for a holiday off adventuring locally and further afield. The staff were all pleasant and stopped for a chat. The local area had plenty of places to eat and all dog friendly. The local cove was great for exploring although you have to be fit to negotiate the steep steps to the beach, there are plenty of beaches further afield though. Great place.

I would also like to add that while I understand why people have laminate flooring laid all through the property I think it should be stated in the details, it is very slippery for dogs to walk on and especially hard for elderly arthritic dogs, we did go out and buy a couple of non slip mats just to make it easier for one of our dogs. The lodge does have a lovely position on the site with a great view.

  • "Our short break was absolutely brilliant and was most enjoyable."

Very comfortable lodge, sofa and bed. Bathroom was well equipped with an excellent shower. If I were to be at all critical, I’d say the parking was a little tight at lodge 13 (had to reverse it in from the narrow main road of the park, which was already on a tight corner) and not particularly well lit for a nighttime manoeuvre. The fire didn’t seem to work, not sure if it was the remote control or fire itself, but we couldn’t get it to turn on. The central heating however was excellent. Sadly, the temperature of the hot tub was too cold upon arrival and so although we stayed two nights, we’re only able to use it once. I realise you are changing the water for each visitor, but perhaps if it could have been put on earlier, we might have made the benefit of a lodge with a tub. All in all, a brilliant stay, excellent location with things to do, places to visit and walks to explore very close by. Thank you.
