“There was a strong smell of urine in the upstairs bathroom; lino in kitchen and upstairs bathroom old and will soon need replacement; outdoor bench requires replacement as not usable in current condition; varnish peeling from dining room table which left a 'sticky' effect; double bedroom at back has broken lampshade, mould on curtains, and was dusty.”

Property was a bit 'tired'. Trays in oven hadn't been cleaned. However beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows and towels, and clean crisp linen. House is a nice size and decor is generally very good. Well equipped kitchen, and lots of nice touches like toilet rolls, biscuits, milk in fridge, leaflets, books, DVDs, games, cleaning products including tea towels, washing-up liquid and dishwasher tablets. Site was lovely and well maintained. But it is not really feasible to walk to the beach as it is 15 minutes down a busy, windy road with no footpaths. Loved the gym and the pool was big enough for youngsters. Jacuzzi wasn't heated. Steam room was lovely, adequate changing rooms and shower, nice bar area, very friendly staff.
