So supposed to be the 1st review for this place on trip adviser! There is a guest book in the cottage with many wonderful entry's and experiences. Very clean and well equipped. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. So may little home comforts in the bungalow they owners really have thought of everything from a plaster or torch to a particular kitchen utensil! There are even spare batteries and lightbulbs in the cupboard! Dogs welcome. We arrived to a surprise hamper of goodies, tea, coffee, shortbread and even 2x bags of treats for the dogs! Fresh flowers in a vase. Very comfortable and homely. Highly recommend this place for couples and family's with kids alike. Very central location to explore Cornwall. I'd defnately come back!

The property

This stone built semi detached bungalow is one of only three in the Pendra Loweth village, just 3 miles from Falmouth.

The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth, is a village of purpose built and privately owned self-catering holiday cottages, situated in the beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach.

With onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area and an indoor plunge pool (seasonal opening hours).

The living area is open plan with a well equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Outside the living area, through double doors, is a sun terrace which leads onto a large communal lawned area.

Set on the North side but just a short stroll from the centre of the village, this spot seems to retain an additional air of tranquillity, being beautifully planted, with seasonal plants, flower and shrubs.

A fifteen minute walk along the local lanes will have you at Swanpool.

Here you will find a sandy, protected and vibrant cove.

Just as convenient is the slightly quieter cove at Maenporth, again the perfect spot in which to spend a day on the beach but close enough to pop to for a couple of hours for an invigorating swim.

North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

Chy Lowena is a perfect base to explore Pendra Loweth and the surrounding area of Cornwall.
