  • "Excellent property."

.. loved our stay as accommodation was both to a high standard and homely. Pool on the complex was great, and local beach perfect for families. Would recommend.

  • "Lovely property with everything needed to stay comfortable and entertained."

Kids loved the Nintendo and play areas. Leisure centre had everything we wanted and was spotless. A gym would benefit others but we are not gym goers so made no difference to us that there wasn't one. The only thing that I didn't like were the slugs and woodlouses that we came across in the property.

  • "Nice little holiday complex, with the beach only being a short walk, local shop a short drive with a wide range of products for a village store."

Very quiet but it was out of holiday season so I’d imagine it gets a lot busier. Staff always happy and helpful, just bad luck that during our stay the sauna was out of order until the last day also only had hot water the last day of the holiday within the house we were staying (when we notified the owner they were quick to respond and action repairs). The kitchen was well stocked with gadgets and cooking appliances. Not sure if the owner of the property had had a chance to visit in a while as a couple of things needed attention; shower door broken and the outside mat needed to be discarded due to it breaking down in the weather. Overall apart from there being no hot water until the last day we had a pleasant stay. The property was bright and airy with a fan being supplied for the double bedroom as it did get hot in there.

  • "We had no hot water in the bathroom for 3 days (the weekend) and it was supposed to have been fixed on the Monday, but it was impossible to have a bath and the shower ran cold in the bathroom."

The shower downstairs was hot when we put the booster on. The accommodation was very well presented but the water situation spoiled the experience. When paying top money it was disappointing.

Very well equipped and comfortable. On a lovely site with pool and sauna. Can walk to a beach. Would highly recommend. Owner easy to contact and very helpful.

  • "A very lovely light, bright and extremely well equipped property."

All the little extras, Prosecco, Cornish fudge, biscuits, tea, coffee, milk, hand soap, dishwasher and washing machine tablets, make it very welcoming and special. A lot of thought has gone into making it a superb place to stay. The location is great for exploring coast or town. Super for paddle boarding, sailing, walking, beaches. The property on the well kept Maenporth Estate, also has the use of a lovely pool, jacuzzi, sauna and tennis courts.

  • "Really lovely and homely cottage with amazing facilities."

Appreciated the welcome food/drink pack and excellently kitted out house. Short walk to the beach (down a big hill!) and swimming pool etc all on site. Would be helpful to know in advance the only shop is a few miles away, we arrived late and didn’t have many options to eat so would recommend picking up essentials en route. Lovely restaurant down by the beach but fairly pricey (but great food and sea views). Few cobwebs in the lounge but otherwise very clean. Also loved your cushion covers so much we have bought some for our house! Thanks so much for a great stay - would thoroughly recommend!

  • "Beautifully decorated, super-comfy accommodation, which was well-equipped and the treats on arrival were a lovely gesture too."

The cottage is in a great location with a small onsite leisure centre. We loved the heated indoor swimming pool, and managed a quick round of tennis in the heat. The pool table (requires 2 x 20p) and table tennis were much appreciated fun activities on rainy days. Maenporth beach is wonderful with a great cafe and the fabulous Cove restaurant (less than 10 min walk from the cottage). Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this holiday cottage, and we look forward to visiting again.
