A contemporary ground floor apartment just moments from the beach at Marazion, Castaways offers a bright and airy seaside escape.
Fling open the French doors, let the Cornish sea breeze stream in, and relax as you watch the world go by.
With high ceilings and neutral décor, Castaways has plenty of space for couples.
The open plan living and dining area opens out onto the private, south facing terrace – the perfect spot for alfresco dining and boat watching – and also adjoins the galley-style kitchen.
Just beyond the kitchen is a double bedroom with nautical décor, and a modern en-suite with double shower.
The town of Marazion is just a short stroll away, home to a range of galleries, cafes and restaurants as well as a handful of shops and some very good pubs.
Marazion beach, though, is just opposite the apartment, and offers golden sand as well as excellent kitesurfing, sailing and kite-flying conditions.
The ever-popular St Michael’s Mount, with its legendary castle and harbour village, is accessed from Marazion beach - either by crossing the cobbled causeway at low tide, or by boat at high tide.
There are plenty of lovely walks along the coastal footpath from Marazion, too, as well as a nature reserve protected by the RSPB - so be sure to bring your binoculars!
Marazion is a fantastic base from where to explore the rest of west Cornwall, not forgetting the traditional fishing villages of Newlyn and Mousehole, as well as the sea-facing Minack Theatre at Porthcurno and the iconic signpost at Land’s End.
A stay at Castaways will be one to remember a lifetime.
