  • “This is a lovely little cottage ...”
This is a lovely little cottage with massive views. The only reasons we wouldn't book again are the bathroom which was too small, despite the clever use of the available space, and the lack of outside space. The cottage was however, exactly as advertised and value for money.

The property

A dinky cottage with panoramic sea views on the coast at holiday hotspot Marazion.

Bijou in stature with bountiful ocean views arcing Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount, this delightful cottage is perfectly proportioned and beautifully presented for two.

The open-plan living room showcases the best waterscapes from its first floor advantage, with dining area for croissants and coffee and a little kitchen for creativity.

On the ground floor, the cosy double bedroom, also with a sea vista, promises good slumber and the wet room completes the interior.

The small secure courtyard houses a private shed for beach gear and cycle storage.

Positioned a few minutes walk from the heart of Marazion, enjoy the array of fabulous restaurants, cafes and inns for romantic rendezvous and lazy lunches.

This much favoured resort boasts a large stretch of sandy beach with rock pools for exploration and a cobbled causeway across to St Michael's Mount.

At high water, board the little ferryboat to this tidal isle, crowned by the very striking medieval church and castle, with diminutive harbour and snugly fisherman's cottages at the foot.

Walkers will enjoy exploring the coast path framing panoramic seascapes and Marazion Marshes is a wonderland for birdwatching.

Ideal for swimming, boating and water sport activity, Marazion makes a resort for both recreation and relaxation.

With stores for provisions and a supermarket within a five minute drive, Marazion has it all.

If you do opt to venture a little further, the hot spot destinations of St Ives and charismatic Mousehole are a short drive away.

Land's End is reached within a 30 minute drive; the scenic coast path around the Far West is particularly dramatic!

So close to the coastline, Nutshell makes a divine and cheery by-the-sea retreat.
