  • "Second visit to this lovely cosy, well equiped flat at Mawgan Porth."

Helpful, charming owners Good sense of humour. we all had a great time.Beautiful sunsets, storm watching and racing the high spring tide. Look forward to coming again soon

  • "The photos do not do it justice."

We were already excited but it was even better. Finding out you have that gorgeous beach literally across the road was a very pleasant surprise. We knew it was near but the positioning of your property is amazing. My only suggestion would be a mop :) But as you know I had two 13 year olds, and they enjoyed that pool let me tell you. Other than that your attention to detail, even down to the little extras really made it a great week. I have already suggested to my girlfriends about coming back. Thank you for a lovely stay x

  • "This is a lovely apartment, in a lovely location."

Lots to do in the area, amazing beach. Fantastic oven meals at a reasonable price from local shop, as well as fab coffee. Try out the noodle van and the chip shop, foods great and you can spend the best part of a week without cooking without paying out a fortune. Will definitely visit again! Love the place and had a great holiday.

  • "We loved the location - as a base we could travel north, west or south."

Everything in the apartment was clean and comfortable. The more permanent/semi permanent neighbours were very kind welcoming and chatty. We really enjoyed our late November Cornwall visit pity such a long drive to get there but it was worth it.

  • "The photos for this property on the internet didn’t do it justice."

The owners have done their best to modernise this apartment in such a short space of time from when it was purchased this year. The facilities were excellent. The apartment itself very homely, and welcoming, with the added bonus of a heated swimming pool. Location one of the best in Cornwall.

  • "We had a fantastic week staying at 7, Europa Court."

The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to enable us, a family with two teenage boys (great WiFi!) to enjoy a week together in the gem that is Mawgan Porth. The off-road parking space was great and Europa Court was perfectly positioned for the beach, pub, shops etc. The view from the apartment meant we could enjoy the sunsets over the beach too which was a real bonus!

The property

This pleasant, ground-floor apartment rests on the Europa Court development in Mawgan Porth, a sheltered cove between Padstow and Newquay on the stunning north Cornish coast.

The ideal retreat for those seeking a refreshing week of sea air, Flat 7 Europa Court provides a charming seaside base with a range of amenities on hand.

Set over the ground floor, the social hub of the apartment is the open-plan living area, complete with a plush corner sofa which overlooks the garden and towards the famous Mawgan Porth Beach, providing a lovely setting to unwind each evening.

The kitchen is well-appointed with all you could need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a washing machine – here you can prepare delicious home-cooked meals when you’re not dining at a local restaurant.

When you’re ready, retire to either of the bedrooms; the double enjoys the same overlook of the garden, while the twin faces the shared swimming pool area, and separating them is the bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for the day.

On sunny mornings, bring your coffee outside to the enclosed garden, as you think over your plans for the day.

Make a splash at the outdoor heated swimming pool or challenge each other to a game of tennis, which can be both found on-site.

Less than a five-minute walk will bring you to the local pub and shop, where you can pick up any essentials, while a little further ahead lies the idyllic Mawgan Porth Beach, providing great surfing conditions and a Kingsurf surfing school, so there’s even more the reason to try!

Take the kids out for a round of crazy golf, nestled among the village centre where picturesque seafront views can be enjoyed.

Head to the vibrant town of Newquay for an afternoon of fun, home to the award-winning Fistral beach which draws in many keen surfers, while there also a wealth of superb eateries to try.

Discover aquatic life at the Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay, or visit Newquay Zoo where you can spot the rare red pandas among many other animals!

Head in the other direction to the charming fishing port of Padstow, where you can explore the Elizabethan grounds of Prideaux Place, join the Camel Trail and enjoy the blissful scenery and wildlife along the way, or take a boat trip up and down the coast from Padstow harbour.

With plenty to fill your holiday itinerary, a stay at Flat 7 Europa Court promises to be one to remember.
