This leads through to the well-equipped kitchen with a dining table next to a woodburning stove, making a good social space for planning the day’s activities.
The sitting room has plenty of comfy seating in front of a welcoming woodburning stove; lovely on those cooler evenings catching up with friends or family.
Upstairs from a small landing there are two traditional bedrooms with lovely views and a family bathroom.
To the front of the property is an enclosed lawned garden and to the back is a pretty patio garden with plenty of seating and a summerhouse to enjoy the countryside views afar.
The small hamlet of Kelly is a short drive from the village of Lifton, which has a full range of facilities including a village store/Post Office, a church and a good range of pubs to enjoy.
A 20 minute drive takes you to the former market town of Launceston which is on the Devon/Cornwall border.
Launceston has Georgian buildings, ruins of a Norman castle, shops, cafes, restaurants, a museum and a church.
For something different why not take a trip to Dartmoor National Park with plenty of paths, tracks and open moorland for you to explore on foot, bike or horseback as well as being a great place to try out new activities, such as climbing and geocaching?
Within driving distance is the ancient stannary town of Tavistock and the seaside resorts of Bude and Padstow for a good day out.
