This delightful wing of a Victorian property is located near the coastal path and beach in Mevagissey, Cornwall.
A converted stable and coach house, this Mevagissey cottage has plenty of character, including exposed beams and terracotta quarry tiles, and makes a great base for a couple or small family to experience a traditional Cornish fishing village, with glorious sea views available.
The open plan living area of this Mevagissey cottage boasts a handmade kitchen from reclaimed Victorian pine with an original Belfast sink, along with a sitting area with leather sofa and multi-fuel stove for the perfect cosy night in.
The double bed benefits from a memory foam mattress and the bedroom enjoys double-aspect windows, for you to appreciate the magnificent sea views and morning sunshine, while the cosy single bedroom has beams and a wooden floor.
Your Mevagissey cottage has its own gated, private patio, ideal for enjoying an alfresco breakfast while you take in the refreshing sea air.
The South West Coast Path is just 300 yards from the cottage and Mevagissey's harbour is a ten minute walk down the hill, where there is plenty of hustle and bustle with lots of small shops and some inviting pubs and eateries.
In the village's popular museum there is a glimpse into Mevagissey's past as an important port, while there are also an aquarium and a model railway centre, as well as boat trips and fishing excursions.
Further afield, explore numerous sandy beaches, the cathedral city of Truro and plenty of sub-tropical Cornish gardens.

The perfect Cornish fishing village, with winding cobbled streets and a picturesque harbour full of boats. Stunning walks lead along the coast in both directions, with sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves to explore. The village has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, whilst just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey also runs daily between Easter and September. Spend some time at the Tall Ships harbour at Charlestown (7 miles) with its shipwreck museum, or among the tropical biomes of the world-famous Eden Project (11 miles). The stunning coastline, fabulous beaches and renowned gardens of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula are a short drive down the coast while Truro, with its shops, restaurants, theatre and cathedral can be reached by car in half an hour.
