"Lake View House is very well equipped, including picnic blankets and buckets and spades, is spacious and very clean."
It offers versatile accommodation for 8 people. The cinema room had plenty of DVD'S, puzzles and games. Outside there is ample seating and the table tennis table was put to great use. There was always plenty of hot water, generally a real home from home.
"We had a wonderful family stay at Lake view, the house was beautiful with great facilities."
The beds are comfy and the bathrooms modern, the ensuite shower is the best. The garden is lovely and I'm sure in the good weather months is a fantastic social area. If you do have a dog there are a couple of escape routes. The house is set up quite a steep hill, there are some good shops and a good pub at the bottom of the hill. There are some beautiful little villages about a mile away Kingsand and Cawsand both with little shops and some beautiful eateries. Looe is about 7 miles and Polperro a few miles further. A great week away, great house , great hosts
"Thank you for a lovely stay and making us feel so welcome."
We had everything we needed and the house was lovely and clean. We would love to come again next time we are in the area.
"Great location, host really helpful prior to arrival and during it stay, would recommend."
"What a wonderful place to stay."
You have a wonderful welcome from the host from the minute they receive the booking and nothing is too much trouble during the stay. The house itself is lovely as is the village and we were made very welcome in the local pub and shops. I will definitely be back.
"It was a very lovely house and Maggie was very nice and helpful we would love to come back again in the future"
"We have just returned from a stay at Lake View in Millbrook."
The area is peaceful and beautiful with some lovely beaches and small villages. The house has literally everything you need and was spotlessly clean. Everything has been thought about and provided for a very comfortable stay. The garden is a lovely place to sit outside with family and friends. There are 3 well stocked grocery shops and good online delivery service as-well as some nice restaurants and cafes. Maggie kept in touch by text to offer advice and ensure everything was as we wanted, which was was great, but we had no need for any assistance. We would definitely return to Lakeview and the area.
"First class accommodation."
It was the perfect place and setting for Our family holiday.
Clean, spacious and well equipped. Especially enjoyed the table tennis table and log burner. Ideal for holiday with family/friends. Great area for walking/exploring/surfing.

Lake View is in the Cornish village of Millbrook; a sleepy spot in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where bird watchers may spot kingfishers on the lake just 500 yards from the property.
There is a a pub and convenience store but the real attraction is the wonderful countryside and water based activities nearby.
Surrounded by water on three sides, Millbrook looks across the Tamar to Plymouth which can be reached by car ferry from nearby Torpoint or on the passenger ferry from the Cremyll Quay.
