Everything was perfect we were so pleased with our welcome as we had our dogs with us. The barn felt like home from home. The hosts were lovely and the location was stunning. Everything had been thought through from the towels to the doggy treat basket on arrival. We have used quite a few Sykes Cottages over the years and this was the best we had ever stayed in. We would love to go back when we are next down in Cornwall. If you are looking for a place to stay were they think of everything this is the place to stay. Top class

Absolutely spotless when we arrived, the dogs were made welcome by the owners, an ideal place for a quick getaway or something a little longer. It was just the two of us but as there are three cottages together, it would make an ideal location for larger families to get together.

The welcome hampers for us and the dogs is a really lovely touch The enclosed garden is a super sun trap and we enjoyed the use of the BBQ as the local butcher was amazing, also did amazing pasties! Fresh fish from Looe was a great treat too. Lovely to be able to walk from the cottage with the dogs and we enjoyed our trips further afield to the beaches and costal walks. The owners were lovely and extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble, thank you

Perfect for a week away with our two young children and small dog. Lisa was very helpful and welcoming and the cottage was filled with lots of lovely extras on our arrival - from flowers to toys, coffee, drinks and other special treats for both dog and humans! The garden was very well fenced (our border terrier is an escape artist and he was unable to find a gap) and it was lovely to sit out in with views of the fields beyond. Close to lots of places to explore in Cornwall and Devon. Highly recommended all round!

Lots of places to visit and explore in the area however there isn’t anywhere local enough to walk to which was a shame. Cottage was cleaned well. Our dog got a welcome basket of treats and toys which he loved. Thank you Lisa and Felix for making our holiday so enjoyable.

  • "Lisa and Felix were lovely and very helpful."

The cottage was spotless and homely, we can’t fault it. The milk in the fridge and welcome pack was greatly appreciated as we arrived quite late and hadn’t had chance to find a local shop. The garden was lovely and private and our 7 year old daughter loved the added touch of a fairy door and the fairy even left her some shells to colour. The garden gates could be opened between cottages if you had family and friends staying in the neighbouring cottages, a feature that will be great as we hope to book to return next year with friends.
