“Yes, I wrote to you with respect to parking but you failed to reply, which is very unprofessional.”

    ...

I knew from experience how difficult parking can be in places like Mousehole. With respect to you and the owner, you really should explain parking and the recommended car park’s available. I paid £9 a day to park which equates to £63 for the week, but worse still, only takes cash, which the local post office failed to provide, thanks but that is ridiculous and while not your fault is your responsibility to inform the customer. The cottage itself was ok but very tired in furnishings, including uncomfortable beds and the lounge seating was awful. The centre mat had a dreadful stain on it, which if unable to clean, should be renewed. Sorry if this feedback is less than positive but I am being honest and the owners would do well to take on board my points.

The property

Lying at the heart of the bustling fishing village of Mousehole, you will find the traditional fisherman's cottage of 9 Regent Terrace.

A fantastic mid-terrace cottage emanating character through its striking exposed beams and original granite walls, this charming accommodation provides a fabulous base for families and groups of four.

After an exciting day exploring the true delights of Cornwall, step inside this lovely dwelling and be greeted into a welcoming hallway, where you can leave your coats to hang whilst removing your sandy shoes.

Retire to the warmth of the homey sitting room and unwind on the bright red sofas, as you watch flames flicker within the striking woodburning stove set in an ingle nook, and cuddle up to your loved ones in front of the TV.

Make the most of the well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare a hearty home-cooked meal for all to enjoy, as you gather at the pretty wood dining table and exchange your most memorable moments from the holiday so far.

Venture up to the first floor to discover three well-appointed bedrooms, including a double and two singles.

The first of the single bedrooms boasts a vast selection of books and a lovely extra Velux window providing lots of natural light, whilst the second single is home to a charming chest of draws for storing all of your belongings.

To the front of the house lies an attractive master bedroom featuring a grand king-size bed and a handy en-suite.

The master bedroom has fantastic sea views, perfect for sipping a cup of tea watching the fishing boats go by.

Make the most of the charming courtyard as you bask in the sunshine on a warm summer's afternoon, chatting with friends and family as you sip on a refreshing glass of lemonade.

Head into the centre of the village for a relaxing wander along the Mousehole Harbour, where you can spot the magnificent St Clements Isle lying in the distance as you watch boats bob peacefully in the waters.

Spend your evenings trying out the mouth-watering local seafood in one of the many harbourside restaurants in the area, before indulging in a pint or two in the local pub.

Head to Penzance for a walk through the well-kept Morrab Gardens or venture further afield to Marazion Beach where you can embark on a thrilling adventure to the Isle of St Micheal's Mount to explore the imposing castle and Old Diary before grabbing a bite to eat at The Island Cafe.

Book a stay at 9 Regent Terrace for an incredible escape to the South West Coast.
