  • "Brilliant accommodation, excellent host, couldn't wish for a better place to stay."

Everything is good quality, works and incredibly clean. Handy for beaches and many other attractions, loved it all so did our 2 black labrador retrievers, who were made very welcome.

  • "Mooie, rustige cottage."

Zeer goed onderhouden, excellente bedden, kleine maar comfortabele keuken. Alles netjes. Geen geluid, enkel de vogeltjes. Een pracht van een tuin met vijver. Onze hond had de "time of his life". Vriendelijke eigenaar, hulpvaardig. Zouden zeker terugkeren. Nogmaals bedankt Justin voor het heerlijk verblijf.

  • "This cottage was beyond our expectations."

The birdsong was so relaxing and peaceful. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Good quality well sprung beds with lovely white linen and supersized pillows. Lots of hot water and fluffy white towels. Large private garden to the front with extra bonus of 2 large ponds at the side that the owner lets you enjoy walking round and sitting on the deck where you can drink your morning and afternoon tea while feeding the fish. Was magical. We didn’t want to leave and felt like it was as our own home. Beautiful fresh roses were waiting for us with a bottle of bubbly. Justin’s dad came to speak with us to check we were on and he was super lovely and friendly. If you are after comfort, peace and tranquility this is the cottage for you. Ps beaches in this region are unbelievably beautiful.

  • "A beautiful cottage off the beaten track, perfect for peace and comfort."

We used as a base to catch up with family and friends, it was a delight to return to it each day. It is well equipped but an up to date handbook would be appreciated.

  • "The star system does not let us say how wonderful it is to have a cottage with such wonderful grounds and happy to take our dogs."

Whilst we have not given it maximum in every category, we do not want to rent the perfect cottage will all bells and whistles next to the sea with a hot tub. Apart from anything else we could not afford that. It is perfect as it is and we are not asking for change. That is why we come back and hope to go on coming back. Thank you Justin for having us at Lampra Mill Cottage.

The cottage was secluded and set in beautiful grounds. There is plenty to see and do in the local area. We will certainly be staying again! Thank you!

  • "A beautiful location and garden, and a cosy house, with nice touches such as a welcome bottle of wine and flowers."

The area is beautiful and many lovely villages and coves nearby. However the house is in need of updating, and we were surprised by night storage heaters, no double glazing and 80s decor throughout. Luckily the weather was warm while we were there. Also there is a public footpath which passes right in front of the house, which wasn't mentioned in the description. Very pleasant owner.

  • "Lovely characterful accommodation in a superb setting."

Add a kind and and helpful host and the very friendly village of Mullion nearby. The perfect recipe for two weeks of bliss in an oasis of calm, with its own lake teeming with wildlife and beautiful places to visit in every direction. Already booked again for next year.

  • "Very pleased with the property."

We have stayed at the sister property previously (Higher Lampra) which wasn't available this time. The cottage is well equipped (could do with a few more baking/oven dishes, maybe), but there are many touches that really make this a welcome retreat (fresh flowers). The grounds are lovely, both for humans and our dogs! Watching the bats fly around the pond as the sun sets is delightful. And so peaceful - such a getaway. We look forward to a further visit next year.

! Information Notes with local shops and times of opening, Interesting places to visit Best pubs and restaurants. With a description of type of cuisine. There are lots of leaflets, some out of date, and maps. We went to Mounts Bay Inn The meal was very basic, disappointing.

  • "Lampra Mill cottage was exactly what we hoped for."

Set away from the public road it was a quiet and peaceful setting with garden, a small lake and walks from the door for us and the dogs. On colder nights, the log burner kept the whole cottage snug and warm. The local pub was friendly and accommodating for a meal on our first night and Mullion is well placed for trips out to walk the South West Footpath. Finally the owner was really welcoming and on hand if we needed help. We would thoroughly recommend the cottage, for anyone wanting to get away from it all.

  • "It was our second holiday at Lampra Mill Cottage so we knew what to expect, it didn't disappoint."

We felt instantly relaxed when we walked through the door, it was heavenly. The cottage is very comfortable and is in very a peaceful location. There is lots to do in the vicinity but we spent most of our time walking the coast path, the scenery is spectacular. There are a couple decent grocery shops in the village and a couple of nice pubs, it's a bit of a hike and the lane is quite narrow so we drove! There is a free car park too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We have already booked to go back there next year!

A brilliant place to stay, clean, comfortable, such beautiful grounds with a lovely lake to sit by and have a drink or meal. Boat available to use. Delightfully secluded cottage. Amazing Spring flowers at this time of year. Lovely owners, welcoming, kind and helpful, but do not encroach upon your privacy, but just up the hill if you need them. Location is excellent for Mullion Cove and Harbour and the Lizard. Main supermarkets not far to travel to. Would certainly recommend this cottage.

The weather was very changeable so we were unable to fully enjoy the extensive grounds. We did explore the area around the lovely lake . Justin ,our host , was very friendly although we didn’t see much of him. The house was cosy and the beds most comfortable. The location was remote but nowhere on the Lizard was too far to reach. The cottage is set in large grounds and is exceptionally peaceful and beautiful. The property is immaculately clean and everything you could need for a holiday is provided, and Justin the owner is friendly and helpful. There are so many places to visit nearby, and South Cornwall is set amid outstanding beaches, cliff walks, and villages. We never ran out of places to visit, and we were very comfortable in the cottage. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone, you won’t be disappointed.
