Colroger Holiday Cottages

Perfectly located for enjoying all of the breathtakingly beautiful Lizard Peninsula has to offer, with its own unique landscape and host of stunning beaches and idyllic coves, these holiday cottages are situated just behind the 15th century church in the heart of the largest village on the Peninsula, Mullion. The five cottages, named after the coves on the peninsula, are set within an L-shaped communal courtyard, providing a quiet setting. A two-minute walk will take you to a fine selection of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants, as well as art galleries and craft shops. You will have a great choice of dining options from the highly-rated and strongly recommended Mounts Bay Inn to a range of fish and chip shops. For a special occasion, the village restaurant located next to the cottages offers fresh, locally-caught fish and seafood, along with a discount to anyone staying in one of the cottages. Mullion really does have something for everyone; the dramatic Mullion Cove, with its pretty working harbour, offers the perfect starting point for a coastal walk as good as anywhere in the country whilst the children will love Poldhu Cove, a lovely south west-facing beach backed by sand dunes. Both of these superb locations are just a mile away from the cottages. A wonderful, small collection of cottages where you will be assured of a warm welcome and a most memorable holiday.

About the location

MULLION

Helston 5 miles; Lizard Point 5.5 miles.

Mullion is a large village on the Lizard Peninsula, five miles south of Helston and just over five miles from Lizard Point, the most southerly tip of mainland Britain. The village is home to a selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs, Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop, as well as Mullion Cove, a pretty working harbour. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nearby is the Poldark Mine, one of the best underground experiences in the south west and which tells of the widespread mining heritage of this area. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Mullion is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family.
