The property

The Old Farmhouse is located in the heart of the creekside village of Mylor Bridge near to Falmouth.

The farmhouse occupies a lovely location close to the heart of relatively traffic free road, and a short walk to the centre of the village where you have a good selection of shops; butcher, post office and news agent, general stores selling fresh fruit and veg and off licence.

Mylor Marina is a 5 minute drive offering a plethora of water sports, and where Sir Ben Ainslee started off.

The Pandora Inn an award winning pub right on the water where you can enjoy outstanding food and drink whilst crabbing, or enjoying the sunset.

The Old Farmhouse is a beautiful whitewashed cottage offering a warm and friendly welcome.

It is the perfect place to bring your family, to share a well-earned coastal break in Cornwall.

With textural wood flooring throughout and light, seaside colour schemes brightening up each room, choose this accommodation for your next holiday.

The large hallway greets you with bright light and is the place where you can store your bags and get ready to relax.

There is an outdoor wet suit and shower area just off from here, hidden behind a secret door - ideal for washing the sand off and rinsing the wet suits.

The utility room is well-stocked with laundry facilities, first aid kit and barbecue essentials.

You have a bright and spacious kitchen/diner to make the most of during your stay, with bespoke cabinets and a fabulous electric AGA taking centre stage in the room.

Gather for a delicious hot meal and discuss the things you are most looking forward to, with many attractions located nearby.

There are two huge larders for stocking with tasty treats, two fridges and two freezers, so you can get well-prepared for picnics, lunches and hearty breakfasts.

Unwind in the dual aspect sitting room, curl up in one of the large armchairs or snuggle on the sofa in front of the wood burner.

Next door is the TV room, so the kids can entertain themselves while the adults of the group chat away the evening over a bottle of wine.

Follow the carpeted staircase to the bedrooms; there is a master offering a built-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with different types of fish printed on the wallpaper.

A sunny king-size double, a double and a single room and lastly the bathroom is finished to a high quality standard, where you can relax in the deep bath tub or refresh under the shower.

On a warm summer's day, pour yourselves a replenishing glass of Cornish gin and tonic with ice and a wedge of lemon and sit out on the patio while the kids run around on the lawn.

The south-facing garden has some steps and slopes so just be mindful of these, but there is a barbecue for indulgent alfresco dining.

Stroll down to the village for a drink in the local pub, or pick up some fresh fish in one of the local shops.

Walk to the harbour to spot the sailboats, even hire your own and glide along the glistening waters on the Carrick Roads Estuary.

Falmouth offers plenty more to see and do such as its Maritime Museum, castle and glorious sandy beaches equipped for basking and water sports.

You also have the cathedral city of Truro nearby as well as the stunning Lizard peninsula, with many delightful towns, villages and coves to stop off at along the way.
