  • "The owners were not expecting us, this, I assume is an error on Sykes behalf, this was sorted quickly by the owners, however, had he been fully booked we would not have been able to stay and we would have lost out on our holiday."

The owner was very helpful and the cottage was lovely, as was the location. Your listings also still show the swimming pool as a feature, which was the main reason we booked this location. When we were informed this was not available we tried to contact, you, Sykes, but could not get an answer from anyone, because of your lack of customer service and misleading listings we will never book through Sykes again. We would however stay at this location again but book directly through the owner.

  • "It was vey quiet and peaceful."

Brilliant for those with disabilities. Lodge clean and tidy. Only problem was the shower although vey hot had very little flow so not a nice experience, also unfortunately there was a blockage further up the pipes but we got the smells, the owner was great and did all he could but again the experience was not great in this respect. But with a better shower and no stink we would go again.
