This well equipped super luxurious house is perfect to relax in or as a base for coastal walks. St Agnes village has maintained a special Cornish feel and is a short walk away from the house.

  • "What a lovely place to stay."

Short walk to cove or into village. Lots of coastal walks. Church porth and perranporth were great. Bus back from perranporth east to find. Property had blackout blinds and we slept really well. Upstairs great views. Property really relaxing and comfortable for 6 adults. We ate at Railway Inn, St Agnes Hotel, Taphouse, Driftwood Spars. Good food and good beer. Bakery really good and fresh. Fish and chips on Friday

  • "The house is very lovely and has all the essentials of a decent holiday home however we were disappointed that the listing wasn’t disclosed to be as part of an estate and that the balconies overlook other houses and families also on holiday."

Out the back is a large car park and sports ground where cars are screeching around until late and early morning, tip trucks turning around (outside the window). We didn’t have a relaxing holiday at all as there were constant early morning activities in the sports ground, and on our only sunny day, when we wanted to have a leisurely breakfast on the decking the owner had sent his gardener to mow the lawns- with no notice other than waking us up! I’m unsure why this couldnt have been done the following day in between changeovers, or why we weren’t advised that we would be woken early to someone in our garden. Note that during this time the dogs also couldnt go out into the garden for their morning toilet. Additionally the property states it is dog friendly, and even though plastic beds and bowls are provided, the safety of the dogs is not considered as the garden isn’t enclosed. It wouldn’t take much to secure it so dogs didn’t wander off into other house’s gardens, or into the road. A lovely house but sadly our experience was not a relaxing and enjoyable one as guests peace isn’t respected and some important details were withheld before booking or arriving.

  • "This has to be the best property that we have ever stayed in."

All the fixtures were high end , extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The location is fabulous 8 min walk into St Agnes add another 10 mins to get to the beach. We spent a lot of time in Perranporth that was only 4 miles away. The cottage was so quiet and peaceful just what we needed, it was also excellent for our dogs to. The only thing I would add would be to add a gate at the sides of the property to keep the dogs enclosed. All in alll it was a fantastic cottage and we will definitely stay there again.

Couldn't fault it at all. High standard of cleanliness, fixtures and fittings, furnishings, and all the little extras like dog beds, coffee pod machine, welcome pack, etc. It has really set the bar very high for any other property we stay in! We are a family of 5 adults, and one pointer dog, and we all had a great time. Great location for beaches, SW coastal path. We had long walks to Perranporth, and Chapel Porth beaches. We drove to St Erth and took the train into St Ives one day. Great places to eat in St Agnes - we tended to do takeaways - would recommend the fish and chip shop, the Cornish Pizza company, and pasties from the bakery. Fabulous property and location.

The decor was amazing. Everything you could possibly need was available . Unfortunately with the hot weather siting upstairs was uncomfortable during the day, more fans would have been good . I hadn’t realised the house was on a housing estate , with a football ground at the back , which had games playing and summer camp . Had I realised I don’t think I would have booked. However , the house was amazing , extremely clean , despite allowing dogs , you would never have known. I think the cleaner needs a raise lol St Agnes was amazing , very friendly village, bakery is amazing .

  • "The photos online do not do the property justice, we were amazed how spacious the ground floor was."

The property was beautifully clean and was well equipped with all mod cons. We had an issue that dishwasher was out of service upon arrival but this was quickly rectified. One tip is that are more things in the locked shed, such as a washing line, BBQ, body boards etc. The property is in walking distance of St Agnes village shops and the beach (rather steep hill) and we really enjoyed spending time locally, the location is perfect for beach days, coastal walks and also as a base for travelling around Cornwall. The children have asked to go back again next year so that’s a definite seal of approval.

Amazing location. We would point out the following for the house owner: 1: A colander would be useful. 2: The outdoor cushions which are kept in the outdoor black container is unfortunately not water resistant/leak proof and so have got wet and will(if not already) become mouldy. We tried to dry them out in the sun but didn’t want to put them in the lower floor under stairs cupboard without permission.

It would've saved us a bit of space had they been listed. We were a little disappointed that the lounge deck had the table and chairs rather than the comfy seating as in the photo, but then the weather wasn't great so it didn't matter too much. An outdoor heater on the deck would've been nice. There is no denying that the property is stunning and St Agnes is lovely, lots of places to eat & drink all within walking distance, although it is a steep trek back from the beach. All of the staff were very friendly and accomodating of our dogs. The coast path was only a few hundred yards away along a quiet road, our dogs loved it. 2 fantastic beaches quite close, my favourite being Gwithian near Hayle and Perranporth in the other direction.

The town is great , located to see all areas of Cornwall. The only criticism was that we booked the break during lockdown thinking that it had a games room, with pictures showing the content of the games room. However whilst travelling to the destination an email was received saying that due to the pandemic a lot of soft furnishings would be missing Turning up the games room had nothing in so my daughter who we had taken very little to entertain her with was very disappointed. We loved the upside down living which allows you to sit upstairs on the roof outside the kitchen. The photos don’t show it but there is also a more private outdoor seating area to the rear with a bbq. We loved St Agnes which is smaller enough to be a village and not attract hordes of tourists but large enough to have 2 bakeries, a pizzeria, lovely restaurant Taste, a number of coffee shops and pubs both in the upper and lower parts of the village as well as a pub and bar at the Cove which reveals a beach when the tide is out. We would recommend the Driftwood Spars down at the beach for a pub pub (steep walking back), Tap House for ambience, Railway for sport watching and The St Agnes Hotel for being good overall
