The property

Just outside Truro this stone built converted barn has been beautifully restored and the accommodation has character and comfort.

The owners property is just across the large central courtyard.

Set over two floors this cottage is perfect for friends and family to return to time and time again.

The entrance leads into the open plan living area with Shaker style kitchen and dining area and sitting area with wood burning stove for all season comfort.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

A stable door at the rear of the property opens out to a patio sheltered by a grassy bank accessed by a short flight of steps.

Above the patio is a large enclosed lawn with superb views over the tree-lined valley beyond.

Within the owners' grounds, springs flow into ponds and it is requested that young children are supervised within the central courtyard and parking area.

Dogs can also be exercised in the owners' fields.

The city of Truro is a short drive away with cobbled streets of bijou shops, galleries, coffee houses, museums, excellent restaurants and traditional inns, all towered by the stunning presence of the three-spired neo-gothic cathedral.

The colourful harbourside town of Falmouth is within a half hours drive away, and vibrant Newquay is equal in distance on the north coast, with beaches to suit all tastes; secluded and tranquil, super surf or family friendly and sheltered with rock-pools for exploration.

Penventinnie Barn is a superb conversion which boasts a serene haven, centrally placed to explore Cornwall's finest beaches and hotspot destinations
