“Little Meadow was just what we needed, a lovely relaxing break.”

Pictures on the website do not do those windows and views justice, breathtaking at times. Apartment is very spacious, but cosy too, with all appliances top end. Well placed for cycling along the coast, or just walking into town centre or Penzance. Getting the car onto the drive first time around was testing, but once mastered it’s fine, this is Cornwall after all ! We were well looked after by the owners, Rod and Jo, very accommodating. Hopefully we will be back soon. Jo and Dave.

The property

Boasting an elevated position, with stunning views out across Mounts Bay towards St. Michael's Mount, is this well-presented ground floor apartment.

Little Meadow welcomes families and friends to explore the beautiful Cornish coast, with sandy beaches and a plethora of watersports, for the ideal getaway.

This two-bedroom apartment is rather spacious inside, with an open-plan living room inviting you to relax in front of the large picture windows.

Take in the fabulous views across the glistening waters as you sip a refreshing drink and chat with your loved ones about your plans for the trip.

Walk to Historic Mousehole or swim in the safety of the refurbished Jubilee Pool, a fantastic original Lido, just a stroll away along Penzance promenade.

Return from an adventure along the South West Coast Path and put your feet up as the aroma of a tasty hot meal fills the space from the modern kitchen.

Gather around the dining table and tuck into a home-cooked dinner over a delicious bottle of wine to finish the day, watching the trawlers come home with the days catch.

Rest your head in one of two bedrooms, with the family bathroom serving you each morning and evening.

The driveway at the front allows for off-road parking, whilst the balcony is ideal for those balmy afternoons in summer, when all you want to do in absorb the coastal atmosphere with a glass of wine.

Stroll down to the harbour in the evening and visit Newlyn Filmhouse, a state of the art Cinema with Wine Bar and restaurant, along with plenty of other eateries, shops & pubs and all the history surrounding you.

Enjoy a long walk on the coastal path, which passes through the village and leads on to Penzance.

There is also a level trail encouraging cycling from Mousehole to Marazion, with a plethora of wildlife to greet you along the way including basking sharks, seals and dolphins.

Little Meadow offers a wonderful coastal break to Cornwall.

About the location

Penzance 1 mile.

Nestled next to Penzance, and although still a quaint town in its own right, Newlyn is actually the third largest fishing port in England, and an important Port of Refuge for all seafaring craft. This Cornish town is clustered around the harbour, with its historic 800 year old quay (the Mayflower actually left for America from this quay, not Plymouth) curling around a few small boats on the western side. Famous for the Newlyn school of Art and Newlyn Copper, the Cornwall Coastal Path passes through the town, as does the level Mousehole to Marazion cycle path. An abundance of wildlife and flora can be enjoyed along both, with basking sharks, dolphins and grey seals often seen. The Cornish coast is renowned for surfing, and Penwith offers some splendid beaches on which to enjoy this sport as well as surf fishing for sea bass. Mounts Bay also offers a wealth of opportunity for watersports enthusiasts as well as giving visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings.
