  • "Again this year we had a lovely time at 30 Cliff Edge made special by Kathryn and Shane who are perfect hosts."

    All the prior information is clear and plentiful, and the apartment is very comfortable. We found the high standard of cleanliness impressive and every little thing had been thought through, making our staying there a joy.   • "Wonderful spacious apartment."

    Very modern and airy open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area were full of light. We did not use the main loung balcony door apart from on our last day as apartment was so hot. We refrained as we were informed the blinds are a bit delicate, the others were fine. It has thermostats in every room and underfloor heating so we made sure they were all set very low as not required. This will be useful when the weather is colder. Did use the washing machine and dryer. May help if a laminated sheet explaining basic use of any of the equipment it was trial and error when putting the washing liquid in. Did not use coffee machine as did not have a clue so used instant that we took. The dish washer was used about 3 times again do not have one so just pressed what looked like an on button, if it did not work would have just washed up in the sink. Everything was clean and fresh. Have told family and friends about it and have told them if they want to go to Cornwall could not find a better apartment.

  • "Absolutely beautiful, light, modern and spacious apartment in a perfect location."

    Very well equipped with all you would need nice to stay in but very well located to get to all local beaches and plenty of places to eat. Right opposite the lovely Tolcarne beach, this was our favourite beach in Newquay despite the steps up and down the cliffs to reach it. Would definitely return had a wonderful week.

  • "We were absolutely thrilled with this apartment!"

    We had such a great stay. The location is brilliant - being so close to the beaches and with grocery stores and pubs in very easy walking distance. Everything was so clean, the beds were really comfy - it’s very large, and it’s got everything you could need! We definitely will be booking again.

  • "Lovely spacious well kept apartment, excellent quality furnishings and kitchen equipment."

    Ideally located for the local beaches, and not too far to walk into town. Plenty of space for a family with a lovely welcome gift of Prosecco. Communication was smooth, and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning.

  • "This is the second time that we've stayed in this apartment and it is as good as it was last time."

    The kitchen is really well stocked with equipment and all good quality. There were roadworks outside and remedial works on the outdoor carpark but other than an 8am wakeup call these didn't cause any issues at all and we were notified in advance so no surprised. thanks again for a great holiday

  • "Lovely apartment which was really well equipped."

    Great location for walking into the town centre and also for trips out. Local Tesco within walking distance was really useful. Parking was easy once we found the entrance with good lighting and two spaces which was really useful. We were here with another couple, elderly parents who really enjoyed themselves and were impressed by how new everything is.

  • "The flat is simply beautiful and has everything you need in it."

    The problem we had was that it is advertised with an EV charging point, which was the whole reason we booked it as we have an electric vehicle. When we arrived it was not working and although the owner tried really hard for us and found another one that we could use, it was a bit of a nightmare. There was also a lot of painting and maintenance work going on in the property which the owner was not aware of, which made every day a bit of a chore as you never knew where you would be able to park, if you could park, when you got home each day. There is building work going on around the flat, which is totally out of the hands of the owner but if we had known this we might not have stayed as it did not make for the most peaceful of stay. That being said the owner did her best to try and solve our problems, and has contacted the various people asking to be kept up to date on any work that is now being carried out. Please don't let this put you off, just be aware of it and hopefully when you go all the work will be finished and you will have a peaceful stay as the flat really is beautiful and a great location to stay in.

Unfortunately as you say there was unplanned and unscheduled work carried out on the car park last week which did create some disruption. The contractor has confirmed that there is no further work planned. I have also had confirmation from the electrical contractor that the car charging point is now fully available which of course does not help you but should negate any disruption to future bookings.     The apartment is superb, so close to the sea front and amenities. It is tastefully decorated, scrupulously clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Kathryn, the owner, gave some very good suggestions for places to visit, and I was particularly impressed when she emailed on our first day to make sure everything was as we wanted.
