    Only issue this time was the ensuite wasn’t cleaned properly and the spare bed bedding wasn’t changed

  • "Very enjoyable."

    Flat was extremely comfortable and very clean. Fridge very small, especially if you are a family of our, but apart from that , everything was provided.

  • "The property was convenient for all of the facilities in Newquay."

    But the property itself was quite tired-both toilet seats were broken, the bathroom extractor fan didn't work, kitchen appliance controls ( hob and dishwasher) were broken, the lounge carpet was badly stained in places, and there was a lot of noise from adjoining apartments. We also found the beds far too soft( a personal opinion)

  • "We had a wonderful stay at 'By The Sea' in Newquay."

    Just what our family needed after COVID19 lockdown! The location of the apartment is perfect. It is situated on the cliff tops in between the town, the Harbour and Fistral Beach. We parked our car and didn't use it for the whole stay! There is a sea view from the apartment from a shared balcony area, over the bay which is lovely. The apartment had everything we needed and was very well kept. The neighbours were very welcoming. We comfortably walked to the beach every day with our children, our dog and all our beach equipment, then enjoyed the cliff top walks to Little Fistral to see the sunsets on an evening or to sit by the Harbour and enjoy the street food. We loved it that much we have booked to return next year. Thank you

  • "We felt led to book this apartment as my wife and myself were independently searching and found the same place at the same week."

    We were not disappointed at all with our decision. The apartment was warm and welcoming with lovely views and located in an ideal position for the beautiful Newquay beaches and walks, while the town was in easy walking distance without being affected by the famous nightlife. The apartment was well equipped and the Covid precautions were well documented and the required cleaning equipment supplied. We had a text to advise us that the place was ready earlier than the 5.00 arrival time - the only problem being that the previous tenant hadn’t returned the keys. This was quickly sorted. To complete the picture, we were also blessed with beautiful weather and perfect tides allowing us to take full advantage of the beaches. We fully understood the need not to allow dogs in the small garden, but this was not a problem with the coast path being only a few yards away from the front door. We have thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Newquay for some time and will be looking to return sometime next year.

  • "Beautiful and comfortable flat."

    Very clean and a cream tea waited for us in the fridge. Wonderful. The photo from the flat show s a wonderful sea view overlooking the harbour and Towan Beach. Only problem was a huge conifer blocked the view form the sofas where we ha d hoped to sit and admire the view. Sea could be seen from the corner of the window or from the balcony, too windy wet and cold to use in the middle of November. The harbour can just be seen from the small breakfast bar in the corner of the kitchen. Lovely in the morning sun but not what you would want to stay sitting in uncomfortable high chairs for long. We could take our dog which sounded brilliant but the balcony did not have a gate at the end to keep her in. Hard work all the time having to get dressed for a cold and wet outside when all she wanted to do was a very quick outside visit to do a wee. The en suite light did not come on very often even though the fan always came on. The bathroom light usually came on after a few minutes but the extractor fan never came in. Maybe the electrics need checking for a loose connection.It was a very relaxed almost here and we loved our stay once we had got over the sadness of looking at the sea in comfort. I think you need to change the advertising photo for the ground floor flat into one that is realistic.

  • "The flat was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped The balcony was shared and not very big we were not able to use the garden with our young dog Not really dog friendly so made need to look into that for future advertising."

    The week went quickly even though the weather was terrible.

They have confirmed that the apartment is an end apartment, so although the balcony is a shared balcony, there won’t ever be anyone walking past as it is an end balcony.   • "Despite advising our arrival time, making calls and sending texts when we arrived we waited 2 hours to get get keys."

    Although dogs are allowed, they are not allowed in the gardens, which is not stated in the details. We took a portable gas bbq which when started we were told by a resident was not allowed, again not detailed in property specification.

  • "We enjoyed staying in your flat."

    Its is in easy reach of everything. It is a bit difficult to go anywhere without a car. There are a few buses or coaches but it takes too long to get to the beautiful gardens which are around. Nevertheless we had a lovely holiday.

    We have treid to get in touch with here, but she never answered out phone calls or messages. At arrivel we did not know where the hfront door key was. Luckily we met a neighbour who told us where we could find the key.

    People above us extremely noisy. Their kitchen above main bedroom. Difficulty in contacting manager's of the apartment to receive details of door codes etc. Sykes gave gave the details but they were inaccurate. Their data base needs updating.
