  • "This place was amazing!"

Great location, great accommodation. Group of 8 stayed here. 3 Cars parked in front of the drive nicely. City centre is a walking distance, although it is quite hilly. So maybe drive if you can find a good car park. Taxi’s are a myth in Newquay, constantly busy or fully booked. The zoo is only a 5mins trip away. Morrisons and aldi around the corner too! Very modern kitchen. Took us a while to find the fridge which was funny. Sofa’s we’re extremely comfortable. One side note, the key ring on one of the key could potentially jam your door lock/safe. Our lock actually got stuck during our trip, but one of the boys managed to rescue the situation. Basically the key ring prevented it from being shut properly, so it was neither shut or open causing the lock to jam. Thank again for having us!

  • "We really enjoyed our stay."

The property was comfortable and warm. The main room has a lovely view and the kitchen is well equipped. Overall I would recommend a stay at Inner Tide. We did have a couple of issues which were just unfortunate. The dishwasher was broken when we arrived but was replaced after a couple of days. Also the wifi setup is fine as long as it works. We did have some problems but then we had very bad weather which would not have helped. Overall the property was clean but there is some room for improvement. We found some old orange peel, a number of sweet wrappers and a half eaten croissant in more or less obvious places. The setup of the shared bathroom on the top floor is strange and is something which was not a problem for our group but might be for someone else. The occupants of the back room can only exit through the bathroom or the front bedroom. There is a door between the bedrooms but it can only be locked from the front room. Equally the bathroom has 2 doors which can only be locked from the landing, but is always accessible from the back bedroom. It would have been better to have separate bedroom doors and and a bathroom that is not en-suite.

The views were amazing, we spent a Lot of time relaxing looking out of the huge windows at the view. So comfortable. The hostess was really friendly, kind and helpful. A definite 10 out of 10 from us all. Thank you for a great weekend.

  • "Some of the marks are lower than deserved as a couple of the showers did not drain properly and a toilet door would not open."

In our opinion curtains or blinds to the big window in the lounge would be beneficial. In all lovely house

  • "Excellent accommodation as you would expect as it’s virtually brand new."

There is a highchair and travel cot available which isn’t shown in the listing details. There is also plenty of plastic crockery and cutlery for kids now. A curtain or blind is definitely required on the window outside the upstairs bedroom. Could also do with a draining board and a few more chopping boards.

  • "Inner Tide is a beautiful house."

It is fully equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. Everything has been thought of. The views over the Gannel are stunning. The beds are comfortable and the bed linen is of a good quality. Tracy was on hand if we needed anything. We were sad to leave and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

  • "We had the most amazing stay at Inner Tide!"

The house was exactly as listed, clean and so comfortable. Everything within the house felt luxurious. When we arrived and asked for extra bedding to make a double bed it arrived within minutes. Perfect location out of the hustle and bustle but walking distance also if you don’t mind a hill! If not it’s a 5 min car/ taxi journey into Newquay. I would just say pre-booking taxis is essential a couple of hours in advance as they are hard to come by at the busier times. This house suited us perfectly and we will be booking for next year as soon as we can

  • "The very large living room windows when it’s sunny in the evening - the bright sunlight is so strong you can’t see what’s on tv."

Some blinds are needed to rectify this ! Upstairs on the landing there is a window with no blind or curtain. As you walk from bedroom to bathroom you are on view from the higher houses across the road ! Otherwise lovely house , ideally situated, very quiet, not busy, easy access to visit places along the coast. Lovely scenery !

  • "We have a lovely holiday in a lovely house, with views out over the river mouth."

The property was of exceptional standard, and very comfortable. It was on the edge of Newquay town so a nice family friendly quiet location. It was a 5 min drive to fistral beach or into town. We would definitely go back again. The only thing lacking in the property, which was very minor was children’s cups, plates and cutlery. We had a couple of 4 year olds with us so we had to be extra careful with the adult glasses and plates.
