  • "A clean and modern house set over 4 floors."

Very good location for centre of Newquay. Good walks around Fistral beach and to Watergate Bay. Bus back from Watergate Bay to house VERY convenient. Kindly the house keeper gave us an hour either side of check in/out otherwise feel the late check in and early check out would have been a shame. For 3 nights the house was good. Shower in en suite was out of order which perhaps could have been menitioned on booking. It looks as though there has been a leak into downstairs a little time ago. Good kitchen utensils and oven etc. There are no cleaning products to use, nor washing up liquid. Also, not all sinks had soap. These small additions would make a positive difference when renting a house. Generally a comfortable stay. Thanks!

  • "We had a lovely stay at Number 5 Towan Heights."

The holiday home is well positioned allowing us to walk to local beaches, bars and restaurants. It’s on quite a big hill, so would not recommend to those with mobility problems. The house itself is great for 2 families and all adults and children had their own rooms and bathrooms. The large open plan living room and dining area was great for 8 people. All bedrooms were spacious. The house was clean and ready early so we were grateful to get into the house after a long drive. Issues with the washing machine were quickly solved by the Property manager allowing us to use the home comforts we expected. Newquay is great, full of families and lots to do. Would definitely recommend day trips to Padstow and St Ives. We had a great stay at number 5 and would highly recommend to others.

  • "Lovely property for family holiday."

Good location although on very busy road. Fabulous views from roof balcony. Very well equipped, very comfortable beds , bedding and towels very good. We only cooked breakfast in the kitchen but each time it set the smoke alarm off, alarm seemed to be to near the hob!! Also there was not enough room for all the rubbish in the 2 boxes provided outside. We had a lovely holiday here and our grandchildren wished we had stayed for 2 weeks .

  • "Having stayed at this property before prior to COVID, there were a few issues this time, we didn’t have enough hot water for 7 people, the bath plugs were broken, the vent in kitchen ceiling was dirty black fluff hanging from it, skirting boards were dirty,I feel since Covid many properties claim to deep clean when they quite clearly aren’t!"

These are only minor things but we paid a lot of money, more than we have ever paid for this property and I expect things to be perfect. But the property itself is lovely and we had a great holiday.

  • "This is our second stay at Number 5 in Newquay."

It’s a fabulous and spacious house, that has everything you need! The house is also in a great location with a short walk to the beach and shops in Newquay! Missing Cornwall already, can’t wait to return ❤️

  • "An excellent place to stay, accommodated is very comfortably, and we love sitting on the top terrace overlooking the bay."

Please ensure all bedrooms have bedside lamps on both sides of the bed. We love to read on holiday and having only one lamp per bedroom is miserable

  • "The hot water boiler is set to go off at 10pm every night."

Maybe this should be taken off so the residence can use the hot water whenever they feel like.

  • "We just finished a wonderful week."

Number 5 is a perfectly located and luxury place to stay in Newquay. The multiple floors mean that we had privacy and places to share together and the roof gets a lot of sunshine! Yes its at the top of a hill but it means its just a short walk for each beach. Well equipped and little else we could ask for. Plus - its solar powered so eco friendly too
