"We found the Tamar so clean and welcoming."
Lovely views from the accommodation and having the balcony was a treat. The upside down arrangement made a real lovely change. There is everything there you need and more really and the beds are comfortable. The site itself has good facilities, the pub is friendly and their food is very good. Getting out and about in your car is good easy, Kitts Hill is the closest for walking your dog off the lead and amazing views too. Train to Plymouth was so easy. Only thing I will say is yes it's near the Tamar Valley but as I took my elderly parents it's more on a hill than I thought so they couldn't walk around the site itself but the Tamar was on the level to the pub shop and other facilities. We really enjoyed our week felt home from home with beautiful scenery a quiet place and listening to the birds songs when in the chalet was lovely.

"A definite home from home property."
Very big, comfortable and really well equipped. Loved the style of the decor too!
Very nice touch to have scones with cream and jam on arrival so thank you for that.
Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay.
Myself, partner and our two children aged 7 and 11 loved it. The games provided were a big hit too, especially bingo!

"Accommodation very good, everything we could have needed was there."
However, we went for a meal on our last night there, the restaurant was full of people with dogs, some very noisy and uncontrolled, a lady was seen vaping on the next table to us ( thought smoking of any kind was banned in food establishments ) My meal, Liver and bacon was totally inedible, the liver was so hard I had a job to cut it and the mash would have doubled as Polyfilla. I know you are not responsible for food but thought you should know. Having said that my wife's and our other guests meals were OK 'ish .
We would however book you again.

"The home has had some new furniture and fittings since pictures."
Fridge was too small for 6 so suggest a wine/drinks cooler would be a welcome addition. Being picky but as it was so hot needed to be outside as balcony had some shade late afternoon. The iron patio furniture looks nice but is very uncomfortable. Overall lovely and well equipped though. Very generous room sizes. Complex was really clean. Pub and swimming pools good.

The accommodation was exactly as described and the facilities in Tamar 6 were very good with small things like foil and cling film not forgotten.
We had some issues with the WiFi but it was raised and resolved quickly.

"Beautiful location with amazing views."
The holiday cottage offered comfort, space and peace. Very well equipped kitchen and extremely clean throughout. We had a wonderful stay over the half term break. The on-site pool was a wonderful bonus which is a 2 minute walk along a flat path. Ample parking close by and an on-site pub by the pool if you don’t fancy cooking.

"The chalets are lovely."
But the floors upstairs need fixing. It's very noisy if someone is upstairs and others are still in bed. Also while I understand why you need extra time for cleaning, not getting into the place until 5pm.and then having to leave at at 10am having had to clean in less time than you get means we loose a day's paid holiday.

"Thanks for your email."
We only got back late last night as took our tent and decided to camp for a few nights in South Devon on the way home as the weather is so beautiful. We had a lovely family time in Cornwall with my daughter and her boyfriend. We booked very last minute as were meant to be going to Mauritius for 2 weeks, changed it to France in July and then when they brought the quarantine in for there decided to do a staycation in the UK.
As we booked last minute and wanted a property with at least 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and dog friendly there was not a lot of choice if I’m perfectly honest, we really did want somewhere near the beach but your property looked lovely and was really good value compared to everything else that was left. We all loved your little house and all the furnishings were of a very high standard and more than catered for our needs.
Honicombe was a little strange, a lovely clean site which probably could do with some updating of the facilities. We did not eat in the pub but went for a few drinks and there did appear to be quite a lot of “locals” so I’m gathering a lot of people either live permanently on site or have a holiday home there which they live in for a good part of the year. Walking around the site in the morning with the dog we did not find people that friendly and getting a good morning out of them was difficult!
With all of this in mind it was an excellent base for our holiday, we visited lots of different places and did not spend a lot of time on the site. I would definitely recommend your place for an adult group or family with teenagers who wanted a central spot for sightseeing.
