  • "Be aware of narrow roads."

Limited places to eat unless you travelled around 20mins. Beautiful pub food at the Kings head in Launceston. The Rydon inn in Launceston a must. Always a warm welcome in the EASTCOTT Arms from the owner Dave, who always went out of his way to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Only marked this property down as the kitchen had crumbs across the worktops and fridge when we arrived. Other than that an amazing place to go.

  • "This is a spacious and well-equipped rural house with a big garden."

Very clean. Wifi is patchy due to the remote location, and you will need a car to access anywhere from here (the listing says Whitstone but it's actually North Tamerton). Perfect if you want to get away from it all. Please note that you cannot run more than 1 bath or shower simultaneously. We did not know this, and found out the hard way :D The owner lives on site and is around to help with any issues. In fact, he saved our holiday - our car broke down and we we couldn't find a garage anywhere around Bude with the capacity to help us. David, however, came to the rescue to we could continue our break! A real lifesaver. He also gave us plenty of advice on ways to make the most of our stay in the area.

  • "We had a truely fabulous family holiday at Eastcott Farmhouse."

The location is beautiful. Very rural but within easy reach by car of beautiful beaches. The Farmhouse was lovely, spotlessly clean and stocked with everyting you needed. David the owner is a charming man. Very helpful without being intrusive. He is the perfect host for his delightful pub next door.

The accommodation met all our expectations, the outside space was beautiful. David the owner was on hand should you require anything, his knowledge of the area was extremely useful. He was very friendly, extremely helpful and courteous at all times.

The kitchen is very well equipped and perfect for cooking in whilst away which is a rarity when on holiday I can highly recommend this accommodation.

  • "Five of us stayed at Eastcott Farmhouse for six nights."

The owner David was very welcoming and helpful. The farmhouse was excellent, the beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was rural, several miles from any towns and was therefore ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The only small niggle was the internet reception was poor. I would definitely recommend Eastcott Farmhouse to others who are seeking a peaceful rural location for a holiday.

  • "We enjoyed a really good family holiday at this farmhouse."

The owner David recommended some good ideas for days out and we enjoyed some relaxing nights in his pub next door following our daytime activities. The nearest shop really is a good 15 minute drive away but we really enjoyed the opportunity to get away from it all. A truly relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life in a gorgeous rural location.

Although this didnt matter to myself once a the property although there are several lodges and a bungalow nearby this does not make any differance to the tranquility of the property

  • "The farmhouse was amazing, the owner Dave has thought of everything even down to providing bin bags, hand wash, tea towels and bath towels."

This very remote farmhouse has a beautiful enclosed garden for the safety of small ones playing and a pond to the front. It’s 20 minutes to the nearest shop so keep that in mind. Dave is really friendly and always on hand to recommend places to visit and eat. We had a Tesco’s delivery the evening we arrived. The farmhouse has a huge amount of space (their was 11 of us). Our only negative was the noise from the people coming out of the pub late which disturbed the bedrooms to the front of the house on a few of the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

Attached to the house is a pub with an incredible owner who also owns the house, and when inside the house you would never know the pub was there. Bude is nice and we went to Port Isaac and it didn't rain.
