  • “Shore Lodge was a great house and perfect for our party of eight.”

Living rooms were big enough for us to spend time together but the size of the house also allowed us to spread out. Having the garden abc parking space were really beneficial too. Padstow is a gorgeous fishing town which we have stayed in many times but this was probably our favourite of all the houses we’ve rented. It was close to the quay and pubs, restaurants, only a short walk along st Saviours lane past the monument to the beach (and amazing views) but also not far from Prideaux place ...

Would definitely recommend!

The property

This handsome semi-detached Victorian house is just a short stroll up from the pretty harbour front in the popular north Cornish town of Padstow.

Set over three floors, this delightful property boasts lofty ceilings, huge windows and generous-sized rooms to provide spacious accommodation for families in this lovely town.

The cosy south-facing sitting room lets in lots of light through the big bay windows looking out over the patio area.

There's a well equipped kitchen with a utility and a dining area for enjoying hearty family meals.

Ground floor WC with basin.

On the two upper floors are four comfortable bedrooms, two double bedrooms on the first floor, one with glimpses of the Camel estuary across rooftops and a smart family bathroom.

Whilst up in the gods are two more bedrooms, a twin with footboards and long, pretty views, a twin and a shower room.

To the back of the property is a neat, enclosed garden on two levels for relaxing in the sun whilst to the front there's a paved parking area for one car, a rarity in this popular Cornish town, measuring 6.4 metres in length.

The town's excellent restaurants - Rick Stein's ‘empire’ is centred on Padstow - shops, cafes and galleries are just a short stroll away, whilst there's a pedestrian ferry to Rock where you can indulge your favourite water sports at the sailing school.

If golf is your bag, play a round at the excellent golf course at St Enodoc.

This is a lovely family home in a delightful spot for exploring this charming area of north Cornwall.
