“There was a slight smell of damp and mustiness in the bedroom cupboard that transferred itself to our cloths.”

The gas fire in the lounge was extremely difficult to operate and when we eventually got it going it was even more difficult to turn it off. This needs attention promptly either it should work or should be removed from future use in my opinion. Apart from that lovely cottage conveniently situated. **Owners Response - The operating instructions for the gas fire have been made more detailed, as you need to make sure that the dots are aligned. Gas fire has been tested and lights and extinguishes easily. Cottage was built in 1760, I was unable to detect a musty smell whilst I was at the property**
