  • "We had a lovely week."

    The house was just as described and had everything we needed. Great location too that’s literally a 10 min drive to Holywell beach. Bedrooms are all a good size and well decorated. Our 10 and 14 year old loved their rooms and own space! Rebecca was great. We had a small issue with the kitchen sink being blocked and she came round the next morning and got it all sorted for us. The hot tub also played up on the last but one day but again excellent communication to try and get it sorted. We’d definately recommend and would love to return in the future! Oh and the hamper on arrival was amazing.. scones, wine, milk, shortbread.. lovely touch :-)

  • "The property boasts excellent comforts throughout, with luxurious beds, lovely showers, ample seating both indoors and outside and a beautiful hot tub."

    The enclosed garden is more than suitable for your fur baby to enjoy, along with loads of thought by the owners by providing a feed station, and throws. When you walk in, you really get an overwhelming Wow. This is nice. Then once you have seen the size of the bedrooms. You enter the lounge, diner, kitchen area on the first floor. Yes, the area is light welcoming and extremely well configured. The balcony boasts a very useful seating area with a gas BBQ (not used by us). Views over the local cricket pitch and the town football club. For a perfect base to visit Cornwall you must stay here....

  • "Everything about Avalennek made it a fantastic place to stay in Cornwall."

    The property is in such a great location in a village with a really good butchers and a lovely pub. Avalannek itself is very modern, extremely well equipped and maintained. The welcome was very warm with a cream tea and wine amongst other things. All our party including the dog loved this place and I think anyone else would be hard pressed not to.

  • "The stay at this home was better than expected!"

    It was clean on arrival, is really nicely decorated and has all of the facilities you will need. The balcony and hot tub are great and the local scones that were left for us on checking in were a really nice touch. Will definitely be returning!

  • "Fabulous property and equipped with everything you would need."

    Would highly recommend. Tucked away off the road means it’s nice and quiet and lovely views from the balcony. Village feel but only 10 mins from Newquay so you get the best of both worlds.

  • "This is a beautiful modern but homily place to stay."

    Everything that you could need or want was provided. It was my Husbands birthday during our stay, he was left balloons banners lovely fresh scones & accompaniments, tea coffee to name a few. We would throughly recommend this accommodation situated in a lovely village with a local pub that provided lovely meals/snacks.

  • "We have just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at Avalennek."

    We would highly recommend this holiday home which is exactly what it is…..a home from home. From tampax to tinfoil, salt and pepper to fabric softener you literally needed to pack your clothes and that’s it. We had a wonderful holiday. Property is in a prime location a short drive to so many facilities. We even met the resident hedgehog!!! We all look forward to staying again love Vickie, Andy, Eva & Peggy

  • "This is a superb holiday home with great facilities."

    I say home because of the many little touches, plants etc which gives it a lovely homely feeling. It's fantasticly stocked with almost All you need for a great time. The only thing that we missed was a teapot, there were multiple ways to make coffee but no teapot.that apart we had a lovely time and would not hesitate to book again. The property was spotlessly clean with lovely soft towels comfortable beds, and great sofas.

The property

Tucked away in the quaint village St Newlyn East, Cornwall, is this stunning three-bedroom detached house, Avalennek.

Boasting a breath-taking architecturally designed interior with all the luxury touches you could need to enjoy a memorable self-catered stay, Avalennek is a fantastic pet-friendly home from home for a group or family of six and their canine companion.

Park-up on the spacious driveway with room for four cars, before entering the hallway to discard any coats and shoes.

On the ground floor, you will find three well-appointed double bedrooms, one of which has its own en-suite shower room, and another with its own TV, perfect for those leisurely wake-ups.

The bedrooms are also served by a beautiful bathroom, where you can enjoy indulgent soaks or refreshing showers after a day of exploring.

Avalennek’s rear, enclosed garden is a must-see, with its large lawn and decking area, perfect for your pooch to stretch their legs, whilst you unwind in the bubbling hot tub.

Climb up to the first floor, where you will find a spacious open-plan living area, with high spec kitchen, featuring all the appliances you could need to whip up delicious offerings for your loved ones, ready to enjoy at the dining table for six over a celebratory bottle of fizz.

If the weather is nice, why not fire up the top of the range barbecue and dine out on the balcony, with rattan furniture and superb views overlooking the village cricket and football pitches, perfect for sports fans!

After dinner, retire to the generous corner sofa and gather your loved ones for a film night on the large flat screen TV, a wonderful end to the day.

Explore the local village, where you will find a well-stocked convenience store for picking up any essentials, and the welcoming Pheasant Inn, where you can treat your loved ones to a tasty meal and have night off from the kitchen.

The delightful Lappa Valley Railway rests nearby, where you can sit back and relax as you chug through wildlife rich surroundings and a former mining area.

Be sure to check out the nearby National Trust site of Trerice, an impressive 16th-century manor house with formal gardens and on-site restaurant.

For a day at the beach, Holywell Bay is within easy reach, here you can bathe on the golden sands with your favourite book, paddle the shores or try your hand at the local’s favourite sport of surfing!

There is also the excellent Holywell Bay Golf Club, sure to entice any keen putters.

Continue the seaside fun at Perranporth Beach, backed by dunes and speckled with rock pools, it is a great spot for taking to the waters on your paddleboard or kayak.
