“Shenstone is a lovely cottage which far outweighed our expectations.”

The owner Joy left us a wonderful welcome gift of scones, jam, cream, chocolate, bread and milk and treats for the dogs, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The cottage is up one flight of stairs and then on 2 floors, it is very spacious, beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail, very clean and comfortable. I loved the bathroom with interesting wood detailing. The master bedroom on top floor is stunning. The cottage is situated in the middle of village of St. Newlyn East, which has an excellent village shop and pub, the people were all very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and went out each day to different places, including Newquay, Bodmin and Wenford railway, Tintagel castle, Falmouth and St Mawes. Weather was perfect all week. Highly recommended.
