The property

Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling town of Camelford, is this wonderful stone cottage.

Inside, the owners have created a warm and welcoming retreat for couples with one child or a small group of friends seeking to explore this lovely rural area of Cornwall.

Spend your evenings relaxing in your very own sitting room with a warming electric woodburner, and a sofa and armchair to choose from, where you can curl up with your loved ones and enjoy a movie night, or catch up with your favourite shows.

The open-plan kitchen/diner rests to the front of the cottage and houses everything you could need to rustle up a delicious meal for the whole family, whilst the dining area provides an excellent spot for gatherings over a well-deserved glass of wine.

The ground floor also has a fitted shower room with quality fixtures and fittings so you can enjoy a warm soak at the end of a tiring day.

Follow the steps up to the first floor, where you will discover two bedrooms - a double and single - both of which have plush beds for getting some much needed rest.

Step outside to discover a spacious patio courtyard, where you can sit and enjoy a refreshing drink in the afternoon sun, also giving access to an external utility housing a freezer and washing machine for your convenience.

Camelford itself has a selection of traditional Cornish eateries serving fine food and real ale, as well as some independent shops and supermarkets for those shopping sprees and picking up any last minute essentials.

Venture towards the wonderfully historic Tintagel Castle, said to have been the birthplace of King Arthur and has a rugged, cliff-top backdrop exposing those stunning seaside views.

Discover Merlin's Cave below, as well as a small stretch of sand, all of which offer a wealth of history and legend to explore.

St Nectan's Glen is also within reach and is an area of woodland perfect for those long walks, where you can discover a 60-foot waterfall.

The beautiful Bodmin Moor rests to the east and is thriving with wildlife, countryside and moorland.

Primrose Cottage is the perfect choice for a remote break to the heart of Cornwall.
