Calartha Farm, of which Calartha Cottages are part, has been in the same family ownership for over a century.
Once a dairy farm it is now a peaceful place to stay.
Situated in a World Heritage Site on the Tin Coast, about ten miles west of St Ives, the cottages have far reaching sea and country views.
The South West Coast Path is within easy reach as well as Portheras Beach and the Penwith Moors with their archaeological history of standing stones and stone circles.
The Old Barn, is a barn conversion and has its own unique charm.
Laid out in an upside down style, the whitewashed walls and beamed ceilings sit alongside comfortable furnishings to create a carefree family atmosphere.
The first floor the lounge has lofty exposed roof trusses and views over the garden to the sea in the distance.
On the ground floor is a well fitted kitchen with a dining area to one side and views to the sea and two pretty bedrooms which share a family bathroom.
To the front, a large, safely enclosed garden is perfect for all the family to enjoy.

The charming village of Pendeen is situated on the Penwith Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding natural Beauty, in North West Cornwall. It has a handful of lovely pubs, convenience stores, pottery/gallery and a good fish & chip shop. There is also a wonderful lighthouse tucked away from the centre of the village, where you can marvel at the most spectacular sea views, stretching for miles. Perfect for exploring this lesser-known area of the county, there are so many fantastic things to see and do; from exploring the rugged coastline to pulling on your walking boots and criss-crossing the beautiful countryside, with public footpaths at every turn! The beaches in this section of Cornwall are fantastic and there are so many coastal villages and attractions that will keep you busy. Enjoy shopping in Penzance, discover hidden gems in St Ives' many harbour-front galleries, or find the perfect trinkets to take home in the novelty shops of Mousehole. The open-air Minack Theatre overlooking the stunning beach at Porthcurno should definitely go on the 'to visit' list, and you can also enjoy visiting the many filming locations of the BBC's, Poldark.
