The property

Port Isaac 2.4 miles.

This inviting ground-floor cottage rests in rural surroundings in the hamlet of Pendoggett on North Cornwall’s stunning coast.

Just two and a half miles from the bustling village of St Isaac, this well-presented bungalow welcomes families and friends eager to explore this magnificent area of Cornwall.

The open-plan living area is where all can gather to discuss the day’s events, whether it be curled up on the sofa beside the woodburning stove or at the dining table over a lovingly-prepared home-cooked meal.

Patio doors lead from here out into the enclosed patio, with picturesque views over the fields where you can let your pooch roam freely!

Make use of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare your meals, or head into Port Isaac and sample the many cafés, pubs and restaurants on offer such as The Cornish Arms which serves food and drinks and is right on your doorstep.

The bedrooms have been arranged in a double and twin layout and host built-in wardrobes for your personal belongings.

This part of Cornwall boasts some superb walking routes, with a circular walking route along a wooden path from St Kew to St Endellion being one option, while the scenic South West Coast Path near to Port Isaac is another.

Those lovers of the coast can explore the fabulous cove beaches at Port Gaverne and Port Quin just along the coast, whilst water sports enthusiasts should head for Rock’s water sports centre and sailing school just 15 miles away.

About the location

Polzeath 6 miles; Padstow 9 miles

Port Isaac, one of the undiscovered treasures of Cornwall. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village or on the beach during the times displayed.
