Owners greeted us and we're always around to answer any questions. Comfy bed and lounge furniture with a lovely view from the lounge French windows or small patio area. Wide sandy beach within 10 minutes easy walk of the property. Would recommend The Lion and Lamb pub at Ashton on the main road towards Helston for a really good value Sunday lunch.

A delightful property, set in a beautiful garden and views to die for.It took us, just 3 minutes to walk to the beach, which had lovely golden sand a beach bar and a great coastal walk along the cliff edge with breathtaking scenery to view. The property was a short drive away from Penzance and St Michael’s Mount, both which were great to visit. I’d highly recommend anyone staying here, especially with the added bonus of the very friendly and helpful hosts.

It was in an excellent position to visit many of Cornwalls favourite places. The hosts were so welcoming and ready to help in any way. I would highly recommend this accommodation and hope to visit again soon.

The property is an easy 5 minute walk to Praa Sands beach, which has a cafe, shop, bar, food, surf school, lifeguards and public toilets. All our favourite places are easily accessible ~ Marazion with the stunning Michael’s Mount, St Ives , Sennen Cove, Lands End, Porthleven, the Lizard and Mousehole. There are also beautiful gardens , including a sculpture garden nearby. A lovely place to spend a holiday.

About the location

PRAA SANDS

Marazion 4.5 miles ; Helston 6 miles ; Porthleven 5 miles

The village of Praa Sands sits on the south coast in between Helston and Marazion. Praa Sands is known for its mile-long sandy beach and excellent surfing conditions. There is a bar/restaurant overlooking the beach – the perfect spot for lunch with a view or sunset drinks. Praa Sands is also home to a Golf and Country Club, from where the most wonderful sea vista can be enjoyed whilst you play. Just inland from the beach is Pengersick Castle, the tower of which dates back to the 16th century. It is said that Pengersick is haunted, and that the ghost of a monk has been seen wandering the grounds! The house at Pengersick is rumoured to be the birth place of John Carter, the self styled King of Prussia and a tunnel which leads from the house to the beach was apparently once used by smugglers. There are supermarkets and other retail stores in Penzance (8 miles) and Helston (6 miles).

Note: Regretfully, children are not accepted at this property Note: No washing machine in property, laundry facilities available with the owner by request.
