    “Great place to e with friends and family.”

    We booked the stay for a family wedding so were able to meet up with relatives who came from all over the country, many of whom also stayed in Bray cottages.

    We booked the stay for a family wedding so were able to meet up with relatives who came from all over the country, many of whom also stayed in Bray cottages. The cottage was very well presented with good facilities and clean. Also very close to the wedding venue just across the road!! As we stayed for a week after the wedding the cottage was also well placed to access local facilities and beaches. Would have no hesitation in booking another holiday through Bray/Sykes..

Lowenna

Lowenna Manor is a conversion into terraced houses of a former manor house in the center of Rock.  Set within its own grounds each house has their own gardens but benefit from the large open spaces beyond and around that are communal to all the properties.  With footpaths to two sides, one leading to the Golf course and onto Rock beach the ferry, and further to Brea Hill and Daymer Bay, the other going to the Newsagent, Bakery, Butcher, Fish monger and shops, it is set in a location that needs very little car travel around the village.  Perfect to switch off from the constant pressure of being car bound!

The property

Lowenna Manor 9 is a renovated property from the original Manor house, converted into a separate terraced house with attractive furnishing and contemporary décor.

This self-catering property has its own private garden, use of the communal grounds and two private parking spaces.

Set back from the main road in Rock, Lowenna Manor 9 is within walking distance to the village shops and the footpath that you can escape and explore Porthilly Cove and Rock beach beyond.

Lowenna Manor 9 can sleep five guests in four fresh bedrooms.

On entering the property you will find the handy utility room with shower, going on will take you into the open plan kitchen/ sitting room with a lovely dining area.

Patio doors take you out from the sitting room into the private gardens and beyond that the communal grounds.

Upstairs to the first floor you will be presented with two airy, light bedrooms, one has a small balcony and a family bathroom, the 2nd floor upstairs you will find the remaining two bedrooms and shower room.

All the bedrooms have fantastic views looking down to Rock.

Holidaying in North Cornwall you will find so many things to do, Rock is fantastically central.

For the surfers, Polzeath is about 5 mins drive away, for the children the dunes of Daymer Bay are a short walk via the golf course private lane.

Lowenna Manor 9 is the ideal places to head back to after a busy day doing whatever you choose to do.

Padstow 1.5 miles via ferry; Polzeath 2.8 miles; Wadebridge 6.2 miles.

Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
