  • "A comfortable, compact and clean property."

Well-maintained and well-equipped. The lounge/kitchen and master bedroom have a pretty view over the Penryn River. The allocated parking space is very useful. There's a small breakfast bar instead of a dining table and trays are also provided. There isn't a downstairs loo and we found the double beds a little small for two adults. It's in a quiet yet central position next to the town centre, harbour and bus routes. Within easy walking distance are a good farm shop (Bailey's) and two nice eateries: Muddy Beach and Pizza Pls. The owners were helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our break in this property in this lovely part of Cornwall and would recommend.

Hi Rebecca Thank you for recommending our property. We’re very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. See you again. The two double beds in the property are of the standard 4’6” size. Property Owner

Having a Stair gate for the top floor single bed room and some child friendly plastic plates would also be a bonus! Otherwise lovely property!

  • "Fab house, calm, light and airy, overlooking a small creek."

Tasteful decor, comfortable and well equipped. Dedicated parking was a bonus - easily accommodated 4x4. Superb location for Penryn marina and excursions to Falmouth and Roseland peninsula. Bus and train services good, boat trips from Falmouth. Penryn has a great little museum, eateries and shops - larger supermarket is 10 minutes walk. Every ingredient for a memorable week, cottage is first class, our compliments to the owners of ‘Riverside’.

So glad you enjoyed your stay, thanks for the lovely review it is much appreciated. Property Owner

  • "The property is a town house, so is over 3 floors."

This means that the top floor has no bathroom and the 1st floor has 2. This is slightly irritating for whoever has to go on the top floor but the owners have made great use of the space available. Beautifully furnished and decorated, with very high quality white goods. Do note that the parking is opposite a private site which has pop-up parking bollards. These are difficult to avoid in order to access the allocated space, and they damaged our car. Not at all the owners' fault but a shame nonetheless. Parking is Penryn is tricky so the allocated car parking is a godsend.

Hi Victoria Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review and thank you for acknowledging the quality of the accommodation! We have put a lot of effort into making it a top quality holiday let, so that’s really good to hear! Yes, the two bathrooms are located on the first floor, one being the en-suite and the other being the family bathroom for the two rooms upstairs. Hopefully this wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. Personally never had an issue with the bollards as they are usually lowered flat, but I can appreciate that drivers of larger vehicles would have to be more careful when manoeuvring than drivers of small to medium cars if/when the bollards are raised. Hope to see you back at Riverside in the future and thank you for choosing to stay with us on this occasion Property Owner

Carry the conversation indoors and settle down for a quality evening with a sumptuous spot in front of the Smart TV, where you can flick on your favourite Sky channel or catch a live game with a crisp drink in hand.

As the evening draws to a close, climb the stairs to the first floor to find the family bathroom, where a tub invites you to indulge in a blissful soak.

Escape the hustle and bustle with a peaceful stroll through the flora and fauna of Penjerrick Garden, or the vibrant meadows at Enys Gardens, or hike to the summit of Stack Point, affording far-reaching views across the glistening waters of the coast.
