However, house it’s fresh looking but tired when looking close. The outside gate broke whilst we was there due to the bin men leaving it open. Luckily my husband is a joiner and he fixed it. I was extremely upset that we was accused of breaking a thermostat on a radiator also and was charge £220. We did not break this and I felt sykes did not defend me at all. The owner could just say things were broke and there is nothing that could have been done. I am not surprised things could break due to how old things are. Finally it was advertised as TVs in all rooms. There was TVs in rooms but at least 2 did not work. This was very disappointing. I have booked through sykes several times but it is the second time I am leaving bad feedback, I feel sykes do not offer any reassurance when bad feedback is left, I would have booked this house for next year but knowing the owner lied about something being broken I refuse to stay here ever again.
